Puzzle book

Ranger Tim says

When we do things like turn on a light,
drive in a car or watch TV, we are putting
greenhouse gases into our atmosphere.
These gases are making the weather warmer, causing
problems for our plants and animals that need our
climate to stay the same.
Climate change is a big problem for people too,
but there are plenty of things we can do to help.
As you go through this puzzle book, keep an eye out
for the ways you, your friends and family can
reduce greenhouse gases and help save
our environment.

Spot the dots

How many little red dots can you find in this picture?

Your appliances can use power even when they are switched off.
If you see a little red light, you are using electricity. This is called standby power.

Count how many red lights you can see in your house.
Ask Mum and Dad to switch off standby power and save 4% on your
electricity bill.
