Guidelines:

a) Vocabulary: Music, Collocations of Music.

b) Grammar: Present simple, past simple, verb to be, other tenses you may use will be
welcomed 😊
c) Topics: Musical taste (music genre), favorite group/singer, why is this your favorite song,
the emotions that you feel when you listen it to, etc.
d) Other questions you may want to respond: does that song belong to your favorite
singer/group, last album you bought or downloaded, have you attended a live concert
she/he/they did, interested in the tune or the lyrics of a song? Etc.
e) Please upload this document along with the song in mp3 o mp4 (itunes quality) format.

One of my favorites songs is called “Close your eyes” by Michael Buble. Esta cancion se la
dedique a mi mama hace un par de años, es una cancion pop romántica. Fue la primera cancion
de Michael que escuché . La cancion me recuerda mucho a mi mama y la escucho a menudo
cuando estamos lejos la una de la otra. Cuando la escucho suelo emocionarme y siento ganas
de abrazarla.

Mi grupo favorito, aunque ya no siguen juntos es One direction, amo el pop. Tuve la
oportunidad de ir a su concierto con mi mejor amiga hace 6 años atrás. Nunca he comprado sus
cd’s pero tengo todos sus albums descargados en Spotify. Para mi, lo más importante de una
cancion es la letra, incluso mas que la musica en sí, no escucho canciones sin antes leer su letra

in 2001 as a single and it’s a pop song with some electronic elements. She’s one of my favorite
pop artists because she has written so many amazing songs, but this song is simply outstanding,
because it puts me in a terrific mood. What I like about this song is the fact that is so uplifting
and makes me feel happy every time I listen to it.
The first time I listened it was when I was 15. I was watching TV and saw the music video, which
is amazing as well, and what firstly caught my attention was the catchy tune and rhythm. When
I grew up I read the lyrics and I simply fell in love with it even further.
