Persuasive Essay

In the world has seen throughout history that is present discrimination either by
beliefs, malformations and most of all by the color of skin. Racism has been one of
the main causes of violence, since ancient times, as the African inhabitants were
enslaved and exported to countries like USA, Europe and others. Over the years,
the United States obtained a population with black skin, a population that suffered
from discrimination by white. It came to a point where every public place was
divided for white people and black people (who always obtained the utensils,
services and housing worse quality), in other words, black people were not
considered human, if it is possible to say much, they considered equal to animals.
This text is not generalizing, because there is a large majority in the American
people defending the black community, but there are some cases where certain
individuals show their hatred of this race, killing him in cold blood by anger or
hatred, which occurred in Ferguson, Missouri. In Ferguson a young black man was
killed by a policeman, and for being a man of this race continued several hours in
the floor, dead, but the authorities did nothing; this is not the deal that a human
being deserves. On the other hand, justice is not doing anything about the police
that murderer Michael Brown Ferguson was free of charge, this is because the
victim was a person who was part of the black community. After the death of young
black men, riots formed by people from the black community, outraged to see that
racism is still present in the streets of America were formed; while this occurred a
"war" was formed between the police and the black community, a group of
policemen that is comprised of white people. This means that despite having spent
so many years, corruption in the police and hatred of these to the black population
still intact, and take advantage of their authority to deal with the black community
and use violence in an uncontrolled manner. After knowing all those events, it is
possible to say that because black people have had in the past a life
surrounded by discrimination, white people continue to treat these
individuals as if they were inferior to them, which should not occur when a
black person is the president of the United States.

“A day of anger over a fatal police shooting of an unarmed black teen in suburban
St. Louis turned to mayhem as people looted businesses” (Cbsnews.com, 2014)
The homicide of Michael Brown took the August 9, 2014 in Ferguson, he was a
black 18 years old citizen, died after being shot by bullets fired by Darren Wilson, a
white police officer. Month, the United States Attorney General launched a federal
investigation Missouri Police Department to examine whether the officers had
shown discrimination of race or excessive force. Later at a press conference in
November the district attorney of the county of St. Louis, Missouri said the jury
ruled that Darren Wilson would not be charged. Legal analysts raised concerns,
this means that the district attorney pursued an approach and unusual process that
influenced the jury at no charge to Wilson. The action from the prosecutor proves
that there really is no respect for the black race, because the murderer was free
and at no charge, which means if that action had been made to a white victim, this
criminal had been sentenced to several years in prison. The Wilson officially quit
his job because he knew what he had done and knew it was totally guilty of this
action, once again justice is on the side of whites.

The Justice Department lawyers have recommended not file federal civil charges
against the white policeman who shot dead an unarmed black teenager in
Ferguson. The New York Times says that lawyers are drafting a legal
memorandum to the Attorney General, Eric Holder, and the case against the officer
Darren Wilson, who killed Michael Brown in an altercation in July. It is investigating
this individual is an excellent response to the negligence that is taking the Attorney
General because this is a black person the victim in the case, still a human being,
you have to guilt the one in charge of murder. However crimes to the black
community continue to be committed similar to a jury in New York, decision also
exempted a policeman to another black man suffocated by applying a headlock
and also provoked mass protests against police tactics against African Americans,
thus Americans deny, justice will always be implemented differently for the black
community, there is always the influence of being white.

“Earlier Sunday, a few hundred protesters gathered outside Ferguson Police

headquarters. Some marched into an adjacent police building chanting "Don't
shoot me" while holding their hands in the air. Officers stood at the top of a
staircase, but didn't use force; the crowd eventually left.” (Cbsnews.com, 2014)
This is how black people feel now, this is the way how black people show the truth
of what really is the police department in Ferguson, and what they receive is more
violence from the police. “The tensions erupted after a candlelight vigil Sunday
night for 18-year-old Michael Brown, who police said was shot multiple times
Saturday after a scuffle involving the officer, Brown and another person in
Ferguson, a predominantly black suburb of the city.” (Cbsnews.com, 2014) Yes, it
is possible that the black community is too violent to show their displeasure against
justice; however it is the only way that really works for the US government put them
attention and finish once and for all the problem of racism in America. The
seriousness of the matter is they are attacking the black community and not doing
anything about it, so they resort to this method, because if you kill a black man and
not charged fees for the murderer, as is assumed to be feel, safe?
