Sindhi culture

KPK Culture

headgear. Leaders mostly wear a karakul hat.
FOLK MUSIC AND DANCES:
Traditional Pashto music is mostly classic ghazals, using • Rubab • Sitar • Tabla • Harmonium •
Flute and several other musical instruments.
Today's modern Pashto music is influenced by neighboring music such as Bollywood films as
well as western or European.
CRAFTS:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not famous just for its natural beauty, but also for its handicraft work.
The products of KPK are very famous all over the country, and also exported to the other
countries. Handmade products that include, • Woodwork Chappal making • Stones jewelry
Vessels of brass and copper • Fine hand woven Woolen fabrics • Leather work Hand knotted
rugs • Carpets, caps made of mountain sheep wool.

Baluchistan
Introduction
Baluchistan (Urdu: ,) ‫ بلوچستان‬is one of the five provinces of Pakistan. The name Baluchistan
means the “Land of the Baloch” in many regional languages.
Tradition:
The history of Baluchistan covers thousands of years from the First Century to the Third Century
with Iran and Afghanistan. A number of tribes constitute to make people of Balochistan. Three
major tribes are Baloch, Brahvi and Pashtoon. Each tribe is further divided into various types.
Language:
Most of the people in the city understand and speak to Balochi, Pashtoo and Brahvi. Some of the
people understand and speak Urdu, the national language. In Kachhi and Sibbi, People speak
Seraiki and Sindhi as well. People speak different languages. There is a similarity in their
literature, beliefs and customs.
Dress:
Balochi culture is famous for its dresses.

Kashmiri
KASHMIR-Heaven On Earth, the name Kashmir is derived from two words ka (the water) and
shimeera (to desiccate), so the word Kashmir implies land desiccated from water. It is also
called and known as the Heaven on Earth because of its natural widespread beauty.
THE CULTURE AND TRADITIONS OF KASHMIR INCLUDES:
BELIEF SYSTEM, CUSTOMS, LANGUAGE, FESTIVALS, FOODS, DRESSING, FAMOUS
LANDMARKS, FAMOUS GOODS.
Language:
The most widely spoken language is Kashmiri, an Indo- Aryan language.  However, the
predominant language differs according to region. Speakers of Kashmiri also speak Hindi,
English, and Urdu as a second language.

Hazara
Origin:
Some think hazaras are either turko-mangol or race of Genghis khan. But most widely-accepted
theory is that hazaras are mixed race. Hazara with their distinctive Facial features, sometimes
termed mongoloid which bear the origins of their central Asian ancestry.
Language:
 Language is hindko which mean mountain of India. 94% speak Hindko. 6% speak others barohi
, saraiki , and pashtoo.
Dresses:
Dresses are not specific. hazara dresses change passage of time. Girls wear silk and knitting
work kameez shalwar , dupatta and white shawal. Men wear shalwar , kameez and white cap on
head.
