Indonesia Dance Company (IDCO)

Indonesian Dance Company (IDCO) was launched to the public on October 1, 2016 at the Jakarta
Arts Building. The company was founded by Claresta Alim, who cares about the future of dancers
and the dance world in Indonesia. He decided to build a place where Indonesian talents could be
developed and put together in achieving his best potential. One of IDCO's aspirations is to
change the dance profession as a promising and prospective career in the country.
IDCO uses Classical Ballet as a foundation for regular training because ballet technique has a
strong basic principle that facilitates dancers to perform various types of dance. The principles
are protection, the ability to use muscular strength, precise and beautiful body alignment,
musicality, and the high artistic and aesthetic value it has.
The types of production and variations of dances that will be performed by IDCO are Classical
Ballet, Neoclassical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Broadway, Modern Dance, Hiphop, Lyrical and
Traditional Dance.
We are happy and successful with our vision and mission. IDCO has a focus on producing great
work created by Indonesian talents with international standards and quality. Management is
carried out professionally, training is carried out intensively and with quality, also the quality of
dancers will always be monitored to maintain and develop their abilities and competencies. IDCO
