ENG 2010

African Americans all over the United States have been protesting and marching for the

injustices seen in the system. There are a lot of laws that they are trying to reform and the

separation between government and personal issues when it comes to things such as the prison

system. Hearing all the different reasons why African Americans use their current rights to

protest and speak and stand up for what they believe in is very interesting. “When you’re dealing

with something as deeply rooted as racism or bias in any society, you’ve got to have vigilance,

but you have to recognize that it’s going to take some time, and you just have to be steady, so

that you don’t give up when you don’t get all the way there.” – President Obama .Our courts and

juries aren’t impartial arbiters — they exist inside society, not outside of it — and they can only

provide as much justice as society is willing to give.”

For as long as the United States has been around there have been minorities fighting and

protesting for their rights long before slavery. Whether it be the right to vote, the right to own

property, the right to drive, and now the right to abortion and the right to equal pay. As long as

there is oppression towards women in the United States there will be people who want to stand

up and make a change. "I think the most significant thing that has changed is that people can see

this isn't just about Mike Brown, this isn't just about Tamir Rice, and it isn't just about Sandra

Bland," she said. "It is about defending the humanity and the dignity of all people in this country

and of people of color in particular." Above of is a picture of Brittney Packnett who grew up in

north St. Louis County in an African-American household lead by parents with advanced
degrees. She is an activist, educator and a Member of the President's Task Force on 21st Century

Policing.

After the killing of Michael Brown, the Black Lives Matter movement began to spread

like a wildfire throughout the country. With support being seen by not just African Americans

but everyone who is being oppressed by police brutality and the injustices of the system.

Injustice against minorities in the U.S. is one of the most daunting issues the country has ever

encountered. They may find prejudice to be a manifestation of bigotry and discrimination against

those of a different race under the presumption that one's own race is superior. Millions of

people around the world have been affected in different ways by their ethnicity and skin color.

Though much has improved in recent years, there are still many challenges around the world that

are affected by racial racism and discrimination. This post explores why racial inequality is

taking place and how to prevent cultural intolerance.

To me, the origin of this injustice is a lack of comprehension. Small children are really

easy to exploit. When they grow up with bigotry and prejudice, they will most likely believe that

this is real, so they will choose to behave like this. In the other side, as long as the kid learns to

be caring and realize at an early age, they can begin to embrace it later in life. Those who are

dismissive of others and culture do not learn much about community. A person's opinion in the

matter will be affected by experience of other individuals and various cultures.

The way to address this issue is for the government to fight actively against injustice against

others. Of starters, individuals have trouble having a employment or housing because of a

criminal background or the belief that they are a poor guy. Another subsequent strategy may be

to insure that more people function in the media in order to draw their resources to social
concerns. Most immigrants are not even called for an interview as they apply for a new position.

A culture that takes care of everything is a strong help against bigotry and xenophobia.

Such injustices, which have been recognized for many years, are now upon us, and more

individuals are suffering because of the color of their skin and ethnicity. We live in a society

where we are creating walls between us, where we are separating one another by skin color

rather than living as equals. Knowledge and awareness is the best way to resolve this problem.

We need to think before we speak up, and we need to be tolerant of others, and to avoid the

discrimination of citizens of various backgrounds.
