Sacramemes

The UST Center for Campus Ministry in cooperation with the Social Media and Communications
Bureau is tapping the SHS students to creatively promote the importance of the Sacraments. This is
to intensify integral evangelization as part of the preparation for the 500th anniversary of Christianity
in the Philippines.

You are to create MEMES as creative means to promote the Sacraments. Since these are popular
culture today online. MEMES, according to webopedia.com and sproutsocial.com, are concepts or
ideas translated to an image commonly a person or animal, a phrase or some combination of a
visual and bolded, capitalized text that spread "virally" from one person to another via the Internet.

Guidelines:
1. Come up with seven original memes tackling each of the sacraments:
2. Provide a 2-3 sentence explanation for each meme.
3. Memes are meant to be funny and witty, but at the same time contain relevant content. Here
are some of the elements you may include in the meme:
a. Meaning and significance of the sacrament
b. Scriptural basis of the sacrament
c. Form and matter
d. Required state of the recipients
e. Grace we receive
f. Misconception about the sacrament and the Church’s answer to the issue
4. Graphics available in the internet may be used provided that there are proper citations. Use
of original photos is HIGHLY encouraged.
5. Save the seven memes in a single PDF file with the file name SURNAME_FF3Sacrameme.
6. Upload the output in the Submission Bin in Cloud Campus.
7. The output will be graded based on:
a. Content
b. Creativity
c. Organization and Appeal
d. Compliance
