Substitution of Natural Gas by Waste Heat using the new Heat Recovery Steam Genera- EE9
tor (HRSG) of Sudamericana de Fibras S.A. – Peru
Description: It consist on the recovery of waste heat generated by a thermal power plant operated by SdF Energía S.A.C. (SdF Energía) and the gene-
ration of electric power and heat by Sudamericana de Fibras S.A. (SdF) for their dry-spun acrylic fiber plant. This process will have a power generation
potential of 3.07 MW with an estimated power generation of 24,647 MWh / year.
