Criterion A

The Problem
My client is Ted Linnenbringer a math teacher and chess club supervisor. He has
been the supervisor of the chess club for years now. Every year new students join
the chess club many of whom are beginners to chess or are inexperienced player not
knowing to the play the game. The beginners aspire to improve their playing by
learning want tips and tricks.

The Inadequacies of the Situation


During the interview, Mr.Linnenbringer showed of the chess club in which many
members inquire how to improve their playing and attain some of the best chess
openings. But Mr.Linnenbringer and the more experienced members would tell some
openings but the beginning members would have difficulty following along due
complexity of talking about it. Also people tend to be visual learners and without
a visual it is hard for the beginning members to learn them. Also people tend to be

them. Also these are problems I noticed also as a member of the club.

Mr.Linnenbringer considered the idea for an easier way to tell chess members how to
play the game and improve their playing in an efficient matter. Mr.Linnenbringer is
looking for IT solution that can be made in consideration for new to intermediate
chess players to improve the likelihood of the club and enhance the learning
experience and development of chess players within the club.
