On arrival in site, Florin was waiting for and he was very

happy to have me there, observing his work. He was a
supervisor for drylines an had a small team under his
supervision. I was invited on site, where I did a risk assessment
myself, to take part to an induction as there were new workers
that came to work for the same company, where Florin was
working.
Florin has been given information from the site managers in
form of RAMS and he presented all the workers all the relevant
information about the site rules and requirements, about the
criteria for the project, statutory requirements, clients needs
and other environmental considerations. During the induction,
Florin also mentioned about the personal protective equipment
and that is compulsory at all times when working or in areas

They were also instructed about the tools and equipment they
need to use correctly and only if trained. Florin also mentioned
that he and another colleague are first aiders, if any problems
appear then they can help. Florin, also mentioned that all
problems need to be addressed and be able to solve. This was
part of promoting the culture of health and safety and welfare
activities. He also mentioned all the facilities they have on site, 1.1, 1.2, 1,5,

considered all the information from the induction, the tasks
were allocated for the job is a new area and this time internal
walls were put up to a basement are and they need to consider
the partitioning, in order to divide it smaller spaces for some
storage rooms. Florin instructed them that some parts of the
area is not available for partitioning because some plumbers
still work to some pipes. Florin showed the available area. He
was able to allocate work despite the fact that specific area was

After the first break, Florin received some information from the

After they have finished work for the day, Florin instructed that

appreciated for their work. Florin praised them and offered
good and constructive feedback at all times.
