Congratulations on becoming a new business owner! In your scrapbook, complete one of the following
options:

1. Explain if/how the pandemic influenced your choice. Describe the impact a situation like this
would have on your business.
2. Read the following article on NewsELA (Earth Day and Coronavirus). Based on this information,
what kind of small business could you develop? Be specific and use examples from the article.
Also, explain why it would be successful.
3. Do you know anyone whose business has been impacted by Coronavirus? Explain how they
were impacted. What do you predict for the future of their business? Why?
4. Has the pandemic changed what you want to study in the future? Has it changed what you want
to do once you graduate? Explain what the change is, what you wanted to do before, and why
you changed your mind. Also, specifically explain how the change will impact you, your family
and friends, and society.
