ISSUES DISCUSSED AT THE TUTORIAL

Work is continuing in a different and adapted way – t-shirt graphic for band instead of
photography/film project.

Self-directed project using film photography (can you use postal service? Get onto this due to
module deadline), illustration, poetry and writing - what form are you going to bring this
together in – Instagram account? Could you create a digital Zine using Indesign and exporting as a
PDF? Your collection, selection and how you organise it and paginate - this can further
demonstrate visual skills.

What can you do to document video development? Can you try shots, skills, techniques? Can you
engage with any mobile phone film making? Can you demonstrate application of some of your
ideas? Colour, composition, light, placement of objects/mise-en-scene?

Can you get your documentation together?

Check out the estudio guide on design report – it goes into detail content of models and theories
of practice. If you are stuck specifically on these, please email Beth this week. If not, sign up
with me next week.

If you want feedback on your creative work, send me this in advance (link or we transfer) and
sign up next week. Or I can email you feedback after this if you send me something?

Self directed project – why? You can document visual inspirations, your intentions, what and to
whom you’re communicating, choice of fonts, writing, logo, style – why – what does that say
about you as a creative? Include this in your module submission, especially if you are putting it
out to a public audience, would it be part of your portfolio (some pieces at least)?
