1. Reactions to the policy decision of the national government in macro, micro,

personal level and in relation to your topic

Macro

What is macroeconomics and how it affects the decision policy of the

government. Macroeconomics is a branch of economics dealing with the performance,
structure, behavior, and decision-making of an economy as a whole. This includes
regional, national, and global economies. The major concern of macro – economics are
growth, unemployment and inflation.

It affects the decision of the national government because of the financial

situation of the country, like in our country the Philippines. Now the connection of it
about our topic is price setting. Knowing the conditions of most of the Filipino people,
many brands lessen their price on food, particularly on fast food. Unlike going to another
country, like Korea, most of their food is quite expensive for a Filipino, but for them, it’s
pretty normal.

Setting the price and knowing the environment is one of the biggest key
concepts of the brands for their sales to heighten up and many consumers go back at
their products.

Micro

The meaning of microeconomics is a branch of economics that studies the behavior

of individuals and firms in making decisions regarding the allocation of scarce resources
and the interactions among these individuals. The importance of microeconomics is, it
tells us how a free market economy with its hundreds or millions of consumers and
producers work to decide about the allocation of productive resources among the
thousands of goods and services. The concept of microeconomics and its relation to
national government policy is scarcity, demand, producers, supply, demand, choice,
and interdependence.

the current situation of the Philippines right now on the pandemic or Covid-19. The
demand for food is really high, especially the canned goods, since it can last longer.
Because of this the government is forced to buy bulks of these and this also enters our
topic which is the needs. The higher the need, the higher the sales and demand.
Microeconomics is the study of decisions made by people and businesses regarding the
allocation of resources and prices of goods and services. Microeconomics focuses on
supply and demand and other forces that determine the price levels in the economy.
Personal Level

The policy decisions that the government has made is for the mass. Our
government focuses on helping the people(community), and the recovery of our
economy

Since we are in the third world country, some of, or most of our products are
cheaper than the others, that people can afford to purchase. Specially to does
necessities items.

2. In multiple number of words, make a list of your activities during the pre covid
during ecq-covid and during the extended ecq. Plus your preplanned activities
after ecq and covid.

Before and during the ECQ, I was already working on my given task. That is how I
can find a new resource’s of goods and controlling of distribution, after that cleaning of
the store. It’s very necessary to avoid spreading the virus, and to help other people we
do some Bayanihan challenge. Our activity after this ECQ we will call it “cleaning the
hood”. I think you know what it is already from the name its self.

3. As a student-person and together with your family, how would you deal with post
ecq situations in your community, barangay municipality or city, province, region,
and country? Make a list of your family’s plan of action.

Before and during enhance community quarantine actually my family and I was
already busy, because we are running our own family business such as “Lumantas Mini
Mart”. But now in this kind of situation it’s really different, this is very challenging for us
why? The stocks and source are limited, some of the companies are closed or they
prioritize the government orders and biggest groceries stores. But it does not mean that
we will stop working and selling, we must find a way to help and survive at this kind of
situations, because there are also people who hope that they can find available goods
for sale in our store. If this ECQ and the pandemic will end as soon as possible, our
plan is to conduct a business loan for our business recovery, after that we will do some
improvements and restoration our store because of the new bill such as the new normal
bill.
