C. Understanding
Directions: Read the paragraph carefully. Identify the roles in a stage production with the correct names on the text.

There was a stage production activity assigned to us wherein one must take a role. We decided to plan the
work at our usual rendezvous at Albor National High School classroom specifically at Grade 10 section Ampere. Our
leader Jeryc Aguilloso took the task of looking into major logistical matters like when and where play will be staged,
and in most cases either finances all the production costs or else sources the funds needed. After that, Jaypee
Gumaod butted in and said, “I will be the one to plan the dance steps to suit the music in certain scenes.” On the
other hand, Razeil Edera worked on the hairstyles and make-up to complement the costumes making the actors
look natural for their respective roles. The bubbly and the funny one Aldrin Daplin chose to be the overall artistic
coordinator of the entire production and ensures that each one in the production “hits all the right notes” to create a
cohesive, seamless performance that will engage the audience. The experienced person in the group Genera
Estebe crafted the initial concept or plot that each character will memorize while Caren Alamin created the physical
stage setup that simulated the world that the play’s characters are supposed to live in. However, the task of
highlighting a dramatic moment, signaling the entrance of a character, and focusing attention on a specific spot on
stage are taken by Marlou Patual. The last task of overseeing the crews for the sets and props, the sound and
music, the lighting, and the costumes will be assigned to Hazel Aguilos. The rest of the tasks are taken by Carl
Vincent B. Linaga (as the one to decide the attire will not only give the audience a clear sense of the setting), Filma
Sayson (as the one to enhance the atmosphere of the performance includes music both on stage and as
background) and Evangeline Sarsadillas (who will carefully notes how each actor and every member of the stage,
sound, lighting, and costume crews need to be coordinated).
The roles of stage production are already taken by the members. And everyone made a loud sigh and said,
“Hope we’ll make it”. With the scheduled deadline, we are hesitant and not so sure if the stage play will be as
