Dollmaker and designer Katia Ferris demonstrates how sewing a Luckyjuju doll is a tender
labor of love. Featuring hand-embroidered details, a layered mask and two-tone wings,
these owls have so much personality in a sweet little package. Ideal for the intermediate
sewist, Katia teaches you her time-tested techniques and demonstrates how to assemble
the doll, perfectly stuff the owl, and how to close it all up using a ladder stitch. Take your
lovie to the next level by adding accessories like a ruched dress, pom poms, or a sweet bow
tie before gifting it to a truly lucky recipient or keeping it as an heirloom piece.
