Butter-fried broccoli

Ready to give broccoli a make-over of epic proportions? So simple
yet profound… the answer is butter. Fry up the broccoli alone, or
with scallions and capers. Serve with eggs, meat or any kind of fish.
In a word: FABULOUS.

Ingredients

4 servings 3 oz. butter


1 lb broccoli
5 scallions
2 tablespoons small capers (optional)
salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Divide the broccoli into small florets, including the stem. Peel
the stem if it is rough.
2. Melt the butter and add broccoli. Sauté for 5 minutes over
medium-high heat until the broccoli browns nicely and softens.
Season with salt and pepper.
3. Add finely chopped scallions and capers. Fry for another 1-2
minutes. Serve immediately!

Tip!

Try this simple, buttery transformation with Brussels sprouts,


asparagus, or zucchini. And go ahead and mix in some sliced
mushrooms if that sounds yummy!
