Detailed Lesson Plan in Science III

I. Objectives

c. Materials: Pictures, Cartolina, Marker, Crayons, Glue, Tape, Scissors

A. Preparatory Activities
1. Prayer
“Everybody please stand up and let
us pray”. (The pupils will stand up and pray.)
2. Greetings
“Good morning class!” “Good morning teacher, Good morning
classmates it’s nice to see you today!

“Teacher, I observed that there are different
formations of clouds.”
“Teacher, I observed that the clouds are
color gray and white.”
“Yes, all of your answers were right!
So what do you think is our lesson
for today?” “Sky, Teacher?”
“Clouds, Teacher?”
“Yes, good job because our
objectives for today are to identify,
draw and describe the types of
clouds. Who among you here loves
to see clouds?” “Me teacher!”
“I love to see clouds teacher because it
looks like cotton candy.”
“I love clouds teacher because I can see
different formations on it.”
“Okay, very well said!”
B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
a. The teacher will ask, “Based on
your observations. What can you say
about clouds?” “Teacher, clouds contains water.”
“Clouds are white.”
“Yes, your answers are right, because
a cloud is a large collection of very
tiny droplets of water or ice crystals.”

b. Drawing Contest
The class will be divided into two (The pupils will group themselves into two

2. Practice

The game will called “Pinoy Henyo”


using the same group the pupils will
choose representatives who will
participate in the said games. The
one will be the guesser and the other
one is the doer of the action.

The teacher will put pictures of the


different types of clouds at the top of
the head of the guesser and the doer
of the action will perform it. The
group that will have the highest score
will be the winner.

3. Differentiated Activities

Group 1: “I Made It”


The group will be given materials
that will be used in making a
cumulus cloud. (Each group will do their task.)

Materials: Box, cotton/cotton balls,


glitters, construction papers, pair of
scissors, glue and tape.

Group 2: “I Draw It”


The group will be given drawing
materials and will draw the main
types of clouds with a description on
it.

Materials: Cartolina, marker,


crayons

Group 3: “I Sing It”


The group will create a song it could
be in a rap or jingle type but the song
should be about the clouds or in
relation to clouds.

Materials: Cartolina, marker


4. Post Activity (Generalization)
Give one cut-out of cloud to each
pupil and have them write what they
have learned from the topic. (The pupils will write what they have
learned in class).
C. Application
The teacher will let the pupils draw
the different types of clouds.
 Cirrus Clouds (The pupils will draw the different types of
 Cumulus Clouds clouds).
 Stratus Clouds
IV. Evaluation
Describe the different types of
clouds shown in the pictures.

V. Assignment
Draw on your notebook the type of
cloud that will appear tomorrow. (The pupils will write their assignment on
