PREFACE

Over the last couple decades, the rise of e-commerce has made a huge impact
on how businesses function nowadays. These days any business that wants to
be successful selling products or services online depends on its e-commerce
solution. The next step in this evolution is cloud based e-commerce, which
brings up a new major decision companies now need to make to stay ahead of
the curve, whether or not to make the switch. An e-commerce cloud offers
major benefits to those who choose to go with it! Faster speeds, improved
server usage, and tighter security just to name a few. On top of that, businesses
that go with the cloud enjoy great budget savings due to lower setup and
maintenance costs. That, in short is what makes cloud solutions the way of the
future, and why many companies are now shopping for cloud technology. Our
platform is an API-based modular ecommerce solution. It can be embedded into
any process or replace any function without running a huge project. Also the
Modular architecture allows the constant step-by-step elimination of legacy IT
systems. Our solution is efficient in building a flexible and maintainable multi-
layer ecommerce platform. The success of our customers is proof of our
method: we efficiently build local e-commerce solutions and then generalize the
common rules, practices, integrations and requirements across a more
standardized platform, extending it out across regions and countries. We have
also Implemented state of the art – Dynamic Nutrition Data Tables – first of its
kind in any ecommerce platform, for this grocery business chain

Target customer profile: MyHomeFarm is a Hyderabad/Secunderabad based firm which
deals with home delivery of Vegetables and Fruits that are grown using sustainable
farming practices in safe and eco friendly conditions
END USER SECTION
The end user (customer) will be able
to see the home page upon entering
the MyHomeFarm URL as shown
here. He/She has to click on SignIn in
order to access the SignUp form

The end user


(customer) has to fill
in the required details
in order to sign up
Upon filling in the right
details and submitting
the form, the end user
(customer) will
receive an account
confirmation email
along with the chosen
password
The end user
(customer) can go
back to the home page
now, and sign in with
the chosen username
and password

(customer) can
choose the type of
vegetable pack he/she
wants by clicking on
the appropriate pack
and the verify the
contents
The end user
(customer) can place
the order clicking on
the Place Order button
after choosing
appropriate payment
type
The end user
(customer) can
download the order
invoice in PDF format.
The same is mailed to
the end user’s
registered email
address

(customer) can also
choose what he wants
to order from a
custom vegetable
basket, where he/she
can choose the type
and quantity of
vegetables needed

modify the quantities
of each
vegetable/fruits and
see the final cost.
Upon changing the
quantities of the
vegetables/fruits, the
nutrition table data
changes dynamically

(customer) can finally
checkout the ordered
groceries and place
the order as shown
earlier

his order status by
clicking on My Order
tab

verify/modify his/her
profile details by
accessing the My

fully by declaring
vacation for the
selected delivery
dates. This is available

ADMINISTRATOR SECTION

The Admin can login


into his/her account
using admin
credentials and
access various
sections in it

The Admin can view the


customers details list under
the Customers tab. He/She
can also place/cancel an
order on their behalf from
here. Admin can also change
the delivery day on
customers request
The Admin can create login
accounts for customers on
their behalf and place order
in the Manual Order tab. The
admin can also place an
order from there

The Admin can order


the sequence of
deliveries to customers
on a particular day of
the week under the
Reorder tab
The Admin can see the
complete list of
vegetables required to
be delivered on a
particular day under
the Procurement tab.
He/She can export the
list to MS Excel format
for a print

The Admin can view the


order receipts and take
a print of the same
under the Kitting tab
The Admin can update
the status of various
deliveries on a
particular date by
accessing the Delivery
Updates tab

The Admin
can view

reports
under the

enable/disable a
