1. My work ethic is very strong, and it has been since I was a kid.

As someone who was

involved in a lot of extracurriculars growing up, I had to learn how to balance multiple

things at once, such as scheduling and different assignments. This would prove

extremely helpful when managing different patients’ care in the hospital over a 12-hour

shift.

2. I would like to work for Grady’s Marcus Trauma Center because it is one of the best

trauma centers in the country, and as someone who would like to go into military

nursing in the future, it will be very important for me to have the absolute best

preparation possible for the types of high-risk trauma situations I may encounter in the

military. Additionally, as a girl growing up in Atlanta who knew she wanted to be a

nurse, I always envisioned myself working at Grady Hospital and I think it would be

really cool to make that dream a reality.

3. I would say that one of my greatest weaknesses is that I am very disorganized; I like to

say that it’s because I am a very creative individual, but I know in likelihood, it is

probably just because I am a busybody and I have never been willing to take time away

from other stuff I’m doing to put things back where they belong.

4. I would say my biggest strength is my ability to think on my feet. I was in a lot of improv

classes when I was younger, so that’s really helped me to be a quick problem solver, and

this would be extremely helpful when receiving patients who have been critically injured

and assessing how to help them because as you know, that can be a very stressful

situation.
