 Final Project Article 2

The main topic from the point of view that we are going to discuss refers to; they ask us,
what kind of world do we want to create from the situation or (is) that humanity is currently
living. Currently as students in administration at STT (safety and health at work), our main
responsibility is to ensure the Well-being and Health of people within an organization, in
this case we will give protection and safety to the health of those most vulnerable people in
the middle of this current situation and provide the main EPP (personal protection element)
that is the "Mask", this is where we will give you why, in our article, our point of view is
based on creating awareness and kindness in people who the more they have (financially),
in front of the most vulnerable people and who join in having a good gesture for those
people

In the midst of the difficult situation the world is going through, good actions are what
count the most. This is how the initiative is given through a reflective article given by the
Minute University Corporation, two students from the career in Administration and SST
(safety and health at work) beside the mother of one of these students, who is a mother head
of the home, they decide to manufacture masks in Ibague to change their way of working,
which was, in a call center and start making masks to help people who need it and thus
avoid the risk of contagion consequently from COVID - 19 here in the city of Ibague,
always respecting health and safety regulations.

As time progressed, confirmed cases have risen exponentially in the country and here in
the city of Ibague, so the National Government took measures to prevent its spread.
Likewise, seeking not to be infected by Colombians, they began to buy and use face masks,
leaving many people vulnerable to the situation, which is why in many pharmacies there is
a shortage of these implements, something that can alarm not only the inhabitants, but also
doctors who are the main people who are attending this pandemic and uniformed who must
also attend the emergency.

But seeing the situation in which the virus spread throughout the country. Mrs. Aleida
together with these students, decide to investigate and watch videos on how to make masks,
since Mrs. Aleida had the main tools that were knowledge in sewing and sewing machines
at home, that was how the motivation was taken and they undertook to adapt their home in
conditions necessary to start making the masks for these most vulnerable people; taking all
the necessary measures to ensure that your family is safe and yes, they can help without
risking contagion.

Finally, it took Mrs. Aleida and the students several days to learn how to make the
masks, and she ended up achieving her goal which was to be able to make them and help in
these times of crisis. From the beginning they started making them with anti-fluid textile
material that is the most recommended by the WHO (world health organization), is where
the idea arises and they begin to sell the masks on web platforms to people with more
resources (economically) and that they need personal use of it, so they can contribute more
to the cause. It is hoped to raise the money necessary to achieve the objective: to donate at
least 4,000 masks to the most vulnerable towns, as the main objective of the reflective
article, hospital centers and police facilities

Indeed we conclude in this reflective article, about what kind of world we want to create
from the situation or (that is) that humanity is currently living, is where, in these moments
of crisis we all must be united to be the force. Currently as students in administration in
SST (occupational safety and health) and in the hands of the Uniminute of Dios University,
we want to create a world in which we are in solidarity with each other and help the most
vulnerable; Taking this initiative, we want the people with the most resources and those
with the motivation to help, to unite and do everything possible to stop Covid 19. Finally,
thanking the space for this thoughtful non-investigative article that helped us and will help
us to take awareness.
