Career Objective:-
With experience of ten (10) years in Garment Industry as a
Management Trainee, Senior QA, Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, and
Quality Control Manger…. I had gained a wonderful experience in
home & abroad. I strongly believe that I have an excellent
communicational skill as well technical background in order to work
independently in Quality Assurance Department.

Taking all above in to consideration, I plan to enhance my career in

this field in an upper level, which allows the growth of both
professionalism & individualism in me.

Work Experience:-
a) Since September 2008 till date-(As a QA Manger in Timex group of
company In Sri Lanka)
Responsibilities and Job roll
1) Following up sample process till the final fit approval.
2) Following up new product developments in each season.
3) Conducting pre-production meetings and pilot simple
4) Conducting in-line & final inspections
5) Helping vendors on product developments and effective production
layouts.
6) Supporting hub merchants on costing and up-dates of their
respective styles
7) Providing weekly / monthly and annual production & audit reports to
hub Q.A department.

1) Preproduction procedures including shrinkage, shade band, size set
evaluation, pattern and marker checking, Etc…
2) PP sample evaluation and give comments/approval.
3) Conducting PP meeting
4) Setting systems at factor
5) Visit Factories and evaluate quality of production pcs along with
station QA and factory production team.
6) Conduct in line/interim and pre final inspections.
7) Daily meeting with QAs and discuss quality issues
8) Monitoring all QA reports including rejection and reconciliation.

c) Since December 2003 until February 2005(As a Senior QA in

Upanwasana Ltd, EPZ, Nairobi, Kenya.

joined to Good Fellows as management trainee and after completion of
training period I have been appointed as a Quality Controller.
