Q2: A 240 V, 50 Hz single-phase motor takes a current of 13A, and has a working power factor of 0.35
lagging. Draw a scaled phasor diagram and from it determine the value of capacitor current required to
improve the PF to 0.85 lagging. Calculate the value of the capacitor. And Explain Stroboscopic effect with
different methods. And explain how many ways the power factor of a circuit will be define?

2 meters. The area is to be illuminated to a general level of 400 lux using thrice lamp 40 watt CFL
luminaries with a SHR of 1.25. Each lamp has an initial output (Efficiency) of 75 lumen per watt. The
lamps Maintenance Factor (MF) is 0.93, Utilization Factor is 0.78 and space height ratio (SHR) is 1.10.and
