MARKETING STRATEGIES OF TATA MOTORS LTD.’’ has been personally done by
me under the guidance of Professor Dr. Himanshu Jain in partial fulfillment of MBA Program
during academic year 2018-20. All the data represented in this project report is correct & true
to the best of my knowledge & belief.

appropriately the functioning of this company. This internship program gave me new
experience of working in corporate world. This two months long internship program exposed

PREFACE
Summer training is the bridge for a student that takes him from his theoretical knowledge
world to practical industry world. The main purpose of industrial visit is to expose for
industrial and business environment which cannot be possible in the classroom.
The advantages of this sort of integration, which promote guide to corporate culture,
functional, social and norms along with formal teaching are numerous.
3. To help the student to develop the better understanding of the concept and questions
already raised subsequently during their research period.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Tata Motors Limited is India’s largest automobile company, with revenues of Rs. 35651.48
crores (USD 8.8 billion). It is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the
top three in passenger vehicles with winning products in the compact, midsize car and utility
vehicle segments. The company is the world’s fourth largest truck manufacturer, and the world’s
second largest passenger carrier manufacturer.
In this report we can understand the marketing plan of an organization. And how they are using
there marketing strategy to compete with other organization. From this report we can find about
various marketing plans and strategy used by the organization to garb market and also future
marketing plans and marketing strategy.
In this report we can critically evaluate organizations market plans in relations to its marketing
environment. And we evaluate how media and technology can affect the market plans of an
organization in this present scenario.
From this report we can get an idea of an organization, how affective is there marketing plans
and what are steps they are going to take for implementation of the marketing plan. Combining
all this together we will be know whether the organization got the competitive advantage or not.
The purpose of this report is to find out marketing plans and strategy of an organization and
how this market plans and strategy going to effect the consumers , and how proper analyses can
help us to understand weather the organization satisfy the consumers needs and demand .
