THESIS: As a community we recognize that the Ruta del
Sol project affects us negatively and does not generate
significant benefits for our economic and social
development.

average of 80% according to the Superintendency of Public
Services, a situation that is worse in the rural sector: Only 4
out of 10 inhabitants are constantly receiving water suitable for
human consumption.

THE CARIBBEAN REGION, more than 33.4% of the population
of the region is above the poverty line. This is a problem that
must be prioritized

helps to ensure the vital services of the affected

Arg. 3.1 La Ruta del Sol Project endangers the natural
resources which the population depends on and there are
not enough parameters that guarantees the preservation of
water resources and reserve ecosystems that provide
water for the region in spaces like Guaduas territory.

Arg. 3.2 There are no guarantees after selling our land for
the project, when these are in many cases our only asset.

commitments, at least formally speaking, since there are
no documents to which the population can appeal to
demand compensation
