Experiences of a Semester Full of Learning

I think that throughout the period the grammar classes were very important. They helped

me learn about various general culture topics while doing different essays. Despite my late

deliveries, I worried about the time to finish with all the earrings I had. Learning grammar means

for me to speak my second language better, English. It was hard because of my work, I could not

devote enough time to the hours of studies, classes, and essays.

Grammar is very important in this language because it allows you to improve the use of

language in aspects such as spelling and phonetics; It helps you to better understand the structure

of the words and allows you to organize and combine the words correctly in the sentence. In the

beginning, it happened to me that I did not know the changes of verbs in the past and past

participle because what my sentences in speaking were difficult to understand.

In addition, no matter what your specialty or profession, mastering grammar will allow

you to express ideas and thoughts clearly and precisely. Demonstrating a high level of culture

and language proficiency. Understanding and studying grammar teach to read, speak and write

correctly a language as important as English. Currently, the levels of competitiveness in the labor

market are high, so every person who aspires to professional success in his life must be well

prepared, and master grammar perfectly.

Composition classes allowed me to learn the different types of sentences that exist in the

English language. Besides, know the placement of the punctuation marks which are different

from how we use them in Spanish. To be honest, composition classes were more difficult for me

than in grammar classes. Punctuation marks in English are very difficult to place according to

my opinion. I will continue to learn and look for composition information because I think I still

need to learn more.

I also liked taking online classes from home and that the teacher despite being very

demanding was also considered when she should allow us to deliver the essays even though the

deadlines had expired. I would like to say that for the next four-month period they would put

fewer assignments, but it would not be right; because in reality, all are necessary to be able to

apply what is learned in classes.
