Operations Plan

Run and Cement 9 5/8’’ Casing

1. Hold PJSM, CMT unit flush lines w/5 bbls fresh water and P.test lines to 3000 psi, OK.
2. Rig Pump 60 BBL’s Tuned Spacer @ 6 BPM (250 GPM/mn) 350 psi
3. CMT Unit pump Mix and pump LEAD @ 5 bbls/mn 53 BBLS, class "G" cement at 101 pcf

4. CMT Unit pump Mix and Pump TAIL @ 5 bbls/mn 53 bbls class “G” cement 122 pcf

5. Cementer w/C.Man witness release First Stage Shut-off plug (check cmt head marker for
plug release)

6. Cement unit Pump 5 bbls Cement


7. Cement unit Pump 5 bbls Fresh water
8. Cement unit Pump 10 bbls > 95 pcf Tuned Spacer @ 5- 6 BPM (210-250 GPM maximum)
9. Rig Pump 28 bbls > 88 pcf mud @ 5-6 BPM (210-250 GPM maximum)
10. Rig Pump 30 bbls > 95 pcf spacer @ 5-6 (210-250 GPM maximum)
11. Rig Pump Complete Displacement w/290 bbls 88 pcf OBM @ 5-6 (210-250 GPM
maximum)
12. Slow the pump down last 20 bbls @ 85-100 GPM as the plug reaches the collar
13. Bump the plug w/500 psi , over final displacement pressure and hold pressure for five
minutes

total displacement = 368 bbls (if plug doesn’t bump continue to pump to 371
bbls MAXIMUM ½ shoe track cap.)
 At all times check for losses or returns and record same.
 Main issue can be, occur losses with excessive annular pressure while
displacement.
 Keep Pump pressure below 1000 psi

14. Bleed pressure to 0 psi and check for back flow,& confirm Floats are holding
15. Drop free fall opening bomb, allow 200 ft / min for it to gravitate into position.
16. Pressure up + / - 1800 psi to open ports
17. Circulate 2 x annulus (9 5/8’’ to 13 3/8’’) volume 2 times (check for cement return on first
B/up )
18. WOC (before 2nd stage) Monitor well on trip tank until CMT Samples set, break circulation
every 15 mn.
19. P/up BOP and set 9 5/8’’ slips with 180k casing tension
20. Break circulation and test slip seals, mud return on casing head outlet/hose to Shakers.
21. Install DV closing plug inside 9”5/8 CMT head.
22. Held pre-job safety meeting.
23. Cement unit Pump flush line 5 bbls fresh water
24. Pressure test lines to 3000 psi
25. Rig Pump 50 bbls Tuned spacer
26. Cement unit Mix and pump +/- 260 bbls class “G" CMT at 101 pcf,
27. Drop DV closing plug
28. Cement unit Displace plug with 5 bbls cement 5 bbl fresh water
29. Rig Pump Displace cement with: 10 bbls Tuned Spacer + 274 bbls OBM, + 10 bbls fresh
water, check CMT return in surface & re-route return true discharge line under shaker to
avoid contamination, with CMT.
30. Bump plug with 500 psi over displacement pressure
31. Bleed off pressure, check ports closed, and check for cement at surface.
 If ports not closed, hold pressure on pipe until cement hard
32. Rig down cement equipment
33. Rough Cut at 10 inch, break out landing joint and L/down same
34. Cut at 5 inch & bevel it 9 5/8" CSG stub
35. Nipple/up & Install 13 5/8” x 11” Tubing Spool
36. Pressure test seal integrity to 1500 psi for 15 mins
37. N/up 13 5/8" class A, 5M, BOP STACK
38. M/up kill and choke lines- change 9” 5/8 top rams by 5” pipe rams.
39. Hold PJSM. M/up test plug and pressure test BOP
 Test Lo/Hi 300/3000 for 10mins (annular hi – 2500 psi)
 Send proposed test procedure to office before test
 Ensure choke manifold and choke kill lines, stand pipe valves, top drive IBOP and
stab in Kelly valves are all pressure tested.
 All Bop/choke tests with water
 Ensure 18 5/8’’ csg head valves open in case test plug leaks.
40. L/down test plug
41. M/up enough 5’’ DP and HWDP to reach 8 1/2’’ TD +/-7000’.
