1.

Think of two activities which would be appropriate for whole-class

teaching, and which would be difficult to do with any other grouping.

I choose Role Play and Pictionary, I can do both activities with the whole class because they are
both appropriate for teaching.
Pictionary is a great game that is perfect for adapting into a classroom English activity.works with
the whole class for a vocabulary session for example.
Roleplay would be difficult to use for separate groups when the activity should include all the
students at once to tell a certain story.

2. Choose three different activities and say wether individual study,

pairwork, or group work would be the best grouping to use with them.

Individual study: a reading activity

Pairwork: a simple activity like conducting an Interview

Group work: Charades

3. Choose an activity (or activities) where you would definitely want to

group students according to ability (streaming).

An activity such as Puzzles would be benificial and serves the required points because this
innovative group game allows students to interact and interpret academic topics in an intuitive way.
