1. After reviewing/watching the uploaded files about oral presentation, what are
the areas that you think you still have to develop so that you can be a good public
speaker?

I remember when I was in high school I spoke for the first time in the class, I was
nervous like I am speaking for my life and if I make a mistake then I am going to get killed by
my English teacher. I until now I feel the same way every time I speak in front.
Diction and tone of voice these are the areas that I need to improve so that I can be a
good speaker, because the sounds of voice are matters twice as much as the content of message.
If I communicate by matching my voice and facial expression with the emotion I think I can be
a good speaker.
In addition, with so many studies and theories telling us how to speak, knowing the best
way to communicate can be confusing and overwhelmed with the variety of suggestions for
speakers; we need to remember that authenticity always wins.

2. If given a chance to facilitate a three-minute online talk, what topic would you think
you will be able to confidently discuss before an online audience?

In this crisis we facing I choose the topic “how to be productive during this
pandemic” because we had so many time and we stay at home for the longest time. Some of us
don’t know what to do at home. I think while a pandemic may present a window of opportunity,
people should be strategic and wise about how they use their time useful.
