1. Project Description: I’m going to do a 15 piece art portfolio on what it’s really like for me or
what it’s like in my point of view, to live with different mental health issues. It’s to spread
mental awareness and show what a specific mental health issue feels like to the person through
art. My mentor will provide me with new techniques and new ideas for my artwork. This is
completely different from my AP portfolio, which consists of 14 art pieces and is done at school,
I am doing all of my senior project things at my house and my AP stuff at school.

1. Figure out what materials I want to use
2. Take pictures of myself and pick one to use.
3. Work on the drawings.
4. Finish and start on another one.
5. Repeat steps 1-4.

4. Final Product: What artifacts or evidence will you show your board to demonstrate
successful completion of your project?
My entire art portfolio, the artwork will be displayed on easels.

5. Prior Experience: Describe any previous experience you have in this area.
I have taken almost every art class Camas High School has to offer, and I was put into AP Art.

6. Challenge: In what specific ways will this project be a challenge for you? How will this
experience push you?
It will be a challenge for me because there are times where I don’t know exactly how I’m feeling
so it’s difficult to portray that into an art piece.

All of the things should be provided by Mrs. Kieth, and the traveling isn’t a big deal because I
have to go to school everyday.
