Project title: “Study of wheat seed market in Haryana” under Mr. Sanjay Singh, Product Manager (PMG)
Key deliverables: Estimation of wheat acreage, market size, SRR & drivers for seed replacement. Farmer’s pay
and pricing strategy in reference BC ratio. Identification of prevailing products (varieties/ hybrids) usage by farmers
and analysis of adoption process. Study the penetration of Mahyco and competitors varieties in the area. Identifying
purchase behaviour and reasons for hybrid/ varietal preferences. Competitor’s product mapping and market
development activities required for Mahyco to become leader. Future potential and viability for wheat varietal and
hybrid business and identify opportunity areas for Mahyco’s wheat hybrid/ varieties and thereby formulating its
marketing strategy.

 For course on Agriculture Information System, designed a Rural Finance Information System (RFIS)
model that provide easy access to accurate and update information regarding loan, procedure of getting
finance, new schemes in banks and MFIs and finding nearest Banks and MFIs on real time basis to the

 For course on ICT-enabled Rural Service, finding out the Village Development Index (VDI) by household
data with the help of survey in a Pavi Jetpur block of Baroda district (Team size: 4)

 For course on Supply Chain Management, analyzed the feasibility of setting up of two wheeler battery
plant and financial projection of producing two millions of two wheeler’s battery (Team size: 5)

 For course on Fundamental of Management and Agri-busines, analyzed and studied Surya Food and
