METHOD STATEMENT

FOR RCC CORE FILLED BLOCK WALL

Scope of Work : This method statement describes the procedure for RCC core filled block
wall in landscape area ( External) .

Equipments & Materials:

 SRC Cement
 Hollow concrete block (400 x 200 X 150 mm)
 Steel rod 8mm dia.
 Black wash sand as required quantity
 LOKFIX S80 – Al Gurg Fosroc LLC
 Hand shovel
 Wheel barrows
 Sprit level
 Drilling machine

Personal Protective Equipment:

The basic P.P.E will be provided as

 Safety shoes
 Safety Helmets
 Hand Gloves
 Goggles

Procedure

1. All materials will be stored in proper place allocated by the main contractor and same
shall be lifted to the Hard scape area by using wheel barrow

2. All the materials will be inspected before using it for installation and damaged
materials will be rejected.

3. Based on the approved sharp drawing, RCC core filled block work marking for
landscape wall in Zone 1,2,3,4 in External area.

4. 8mm dia drilling will be carried out in the basement slab (by using Drilling machine) to
a depth of 5cm @ 200 mm center to center distance

5. The drilled surface area shall be cleaned properly before applying LOKFIX

6. The steel rod inserted in a proper alignment and LOKFIX shall be applied to the
required quantity and allow it for 3hrs. for drying.

7. The block shall be placed by inserting the steel rod one on other, by applying the
cement mortar (1:1:2) between the block

8. The center of the hollow block shall be filled with cement concrete to the entire row

9. Similarly the other row of block work will be carried to the required height as shown in
the approved shop drawing

10. The completed work will be cleaned from all debris and will be offered to consultant for
inspection.

Verification

1. Setting out by surveyor based on issued latest Architectural layout.

2. Approved Shop drawing of landscape wall.

Safety

 A safety induction talk will be conducted prior to commencement of work.

 Akar supervisor will be having regular visits to ensure the safe working
environment.
