KUNDIMAN COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION: Mr. Lonely

Introduction

The Kundiman Communications Corporation (KCC) is a local company with

more than 2000 persons in its payroll. The company’s top management is composed of

the President for Administration. Engineer Lorenzo de Guzman an electronics

engineering graduate and a member of staff. He has been working with KCC for ten

years five years in the field and five years in the head office.

Engineer Lorenzo de Guzman was given a chance to head the newly built

telecommunication facility however his trainings and experiences have not

provided him with the expertise to recruit qualified persons to occupy the

various positions that will be created or the concern of putting the

appropriate persons to be assigned or the process of staffing, his promotion

depends on his success to direct the new facility.

Background

Engr. Lorenzo de Guzman, a Electronics Engineering graduate. He has been

working for ten year in KCC Company 5 years in field and five years in the head office

Engr. Lorenzo de Guzman has just received an order from his immediate

superior, the VP for Operations, to head the newly built telecommunication facility in

Antipolo, Rizal. So far, he is the only company personnel identified with the new

facility.

 He may conduct tests to measure the capacity of the applicants to

ensure that he will have competent employees.

Proposed Solution

Searching Human Resource Manager is helpful to find qualified employees. HR

manager has expertise for recruitment which the employee will come to their facility.

Taking training is also helpful to find qualified employee for the new facility.

Recommendations

Poor communication with the top management of the KCC Company it will lead

to problem. By solving this it could help him a lot with the specified number of

employee needed to hired. Proper selection of staff is an important matter. Apply
