How to prepare Anthropology in last 45 days: A detailed strategy to achieve 200 plus

1. Question paper: it consist of 4 section

a. Section-1- mandatory to attempt 2 question
Socio –Cultural Anthropology
b. Section 2a and 2b: Option to pick question from one of the section

Section 2a consists of Physical anthropology and comparatively scoring if you are

good in diagram and pictorial representation.

Section 2b consists of Anthropological Theory and better to attempt if you have in

depth knowledge of theoretical perspective

c. Section 3 – Indian Anthropology and again it is mandatory to pick two questions from
here.
2. Books: limit the no. of books in these last 45 days and focus upon key words. For every
topic you need to prepare a mind map so that you can easily revise it in last 10 days.

3. Writing Practice: Most of the students are fearful or hesitate to write answer. Most
aspirants think that once they cover the syllabus they will write answer but that strategy
never works. Aspirants should focus upon writing part as you have to write the answer in
the examination hall.
4. Writing a good answer is not something you can learn in a day or week. It is a process
where you learn by your mistake. Sometimes you know the thing but you are not able to
reproduce and sometimes you may write a beautiful answer with limited content. And
that is why people with limited knowledge but with more practice clear the exam and
aspirants with good knowledge lags behind.
5. To achieve good marks join any test series but write the test sincerely and believe me
you are going to get at least 25-30 marks extra with same knowledge.
6. Try to prepare previous year questions as questions are repeated in BPSC mains. Team

7. Case studies:- this is the sole of Anthropology and it makes a difference between general
studies answer and answer with Anthropological perspective. Suppose there is a
