LESSON PLAN
In this lesson…
Students will rotate between five different mini-lessons where they will learn
more in-depth about the ​Myers-Briggs personality test​, ​Multiple Intelligences​,
Overview the Five Love Languages​, ​Right v Left Brain​ and ​the three different learning
styles ​by taking personal assessments and learning what they mean in the
context of teaching and learning.

● Students will be able to identify and explain multiple


Objectives intelligences (for themselves as students, and as teachers.)
● What are the multiple intelligences, and what are some key elements of
each?
● How can understanding one’s own learning styles affect success in
Essential Questions school?
● How might a teacher’s knowledge of students’ learning styles affect
lesson design?
Students should be able to understand the nine multiple intelligences and how
Learning Target they can be applied in a class
Necessary Prior Students should already know which multiple intelligence they have
Knowledge

● An answer key

“Good morning, friends. Thank you for joining me today. By the end of this
lesson you should be familiar with what activites are associated with each
Introduction/Hook multiple intelligence.”

1) A sort will be scattered on the desk.


Instructional 2)The cards labeled with each multiple intelligence will be used as headers. The
students will be expected to put the activity and illustration under the correct
Activities & header.
Strategies 3) I will go over the answers and correct any wrong answers with an
explanation as to why that was wrong

Student's will share multiple intellegences results. I hope you all have a better
Closure Activity understanding of multiple intelligences. Can I answer any questions?

Students will complete their own Learner Profile sheet and also write a
Assessments reflection paper on the overall Learning Styles unit.
Students who are absent will be given a worksheet to complete titled: “Activity
Chart for Multiple Intelligences.”
1) On the right hand column are activities that address multiple
intelligences
2) On the left hand column are blank spaces designated for the Multiple
Accommodations Intelligence that best matches the activity on the right.
3) Once the worksheet is complete the student will then have access to an
answer key
4) They will also receive the worksheet detailing how this information can
be used in a classroom.
