SESSION 1
STAGE TIME MATERIALS
Warm up: Book
Techer gives some commands (sit down/stand up). Students must follow the commands, the student who 5’
gets it wrong is out of the game.
Development:
Copy the words from pp.19 on the board, read words and students repeat them. With the help of the teacher,
students identify and match the words that rhyme.
Students divide a sheet of their notebook into four columns and write different endings of words on each 40’
column, then they classify the words from the past activity on the corresponding columns.

Wrap up:
Students compare answers. 5’

SESSION 2
STAGE TIME MATERIAL
Warm up: Book
Introduce new vocabulary (mouse, house, look, book). 5’ Paper sheets
Development:
Students write the new bocabulary on some paper cards and illustrate them.
Teacher calls the words of the new vocabulary, students repeat and raise the corresponding card.
On pp.20, teacher read the rhyme and when students listen to the words they put on the cards, they must 35’
raise the card.

Wrap up:
Students paste the cards on their notebook. 10’

SESSION 3
STAGE TIME MATERIAL
Warm up: Worksheets
Review vocabulary 5’ Book

Development:
Read rhyme from pp.20 and students underline rhyming words.
On pp.20 write missing letters to complete the rhyming words.

Students make a small book of rhymes with the words they have learned during the week.
