PUBLIC ADVISORY: THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS WILL NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Pursuant to Section 3 of Executive Order N-29-20, issued by Governor Newsom on March 17, 2020, the special meeting of the
City Council for May 27, 2020 will be conducted telephonically through Go to Webinar. Please be advised that pursuant to the
Executive Order, and to ensure the health and safety of the public by limiting human contact that could spread the COVID-19
virus, the Council Chambers will not be open for the meeting. Council Members will be participating telephonically and will not
be physically present in the Council Chambers.

Comments that you want read to the Council will be subject to the three minute time limitation (approximately
350 words). Written comments that are only to be provided to Council and not read at the meeting will be

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Lakeport City Council is hereby called to be held on
Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held telephonically as instructed above, for the
purpose of discussing and acting on the following:

RESOLUTION NO. (2020)
WHEREAS, the property located at 810 N. Main Street, Lakeport, California (APN
025-601-040) is owned by members of the Hotaling family (the “Property”); and
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeport agreed to purchase the Property for $50,000 on April
17, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Government Code section 27281 provides that the City of Lakeport may
authorize one or more officers or agents to accept and consent to deeds or grants of
interests in real property.
1. The City Council of the City of Lakeport hereby accepts the deed attached
hereto as Exhibit “1” in accordance with Government Code section 27281.
4. The Clerk of the City Council shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution
of Acceptance.
