REQUIREMENTS

NAME & SECTION: KAYE AIZERNER EVANGELISTA/ PET – 2B DATE: MAY 22, 2020
PE GAMES

1.) Name of the game: Emma Jackstone


Objectives: To shoot the jackstones (not including the ball) inside the box.
No. of participants: 5 members each team (2-3 Teams)
Materials: Table tennis table, jackstones, and cup
Instruction: There will be 5 members each team. They should form their lines and must have distance
from their respective tables. Each table have a cup and 15 jackstones (not including the ball). The 15
jackstones must be placed on the table wherein players can easily reach it and the cup of each table must
be placed on the other side of the table facing the players.

First players from each team will hold the ball. When the timer starts, they should bounce the ball to the
ground and catch it using their hands. After bouncing and catching the ball they should keep on holding
it while running to the table and when a player reaches the table, they must shoot three jackstones on the
cup. After shooting three jackstones to the cup they will quickly go back to their lines and pass the ball
and the next player will do the same. They will be given 5mins. to finish the game. First team who finish
the challenge wins.

Note: If a player failed to shoot three jackstones, then he/she is not allowed to go back to his/her line.
Players are not allowed to throw the ball to the next player, they should pass it through theirs hands.

2.) Name of the game: The Longest Kick Ever


Objective: To get the highest score by kicking the ball and determine leg strength
No. of the participants: 3-5 participants
Materials: Takyan /Sipa
Instruction: The game is played on a court surface, about the size of a modern-day tennis court, either
indoors or outdoors – by 2 teams consisting of 1, 2 or 4 players on each side. The aim is to kick the ball
(rattan, cane, and wicker) back and forth over a high-rise net in the middle of the court (this is how you
originally play takyan/sipa)

Adding a twist, players will still kick the ball but horizontally. Using a volleyball court, remove the net
and label the length of the court by meters. Players will kick the ball from the outside of the court
(where volleyball servers serve a ball). Player must kick hard the ball horizontally to the court to get
their score (the farther the higher score they will get). Each player will be given 3 tries, failure to do so,
automatically the player will be disqualified. After a player kicks thrice, the farthest ball will be
recorded as his/her score. If a player gets the highest score among his/her opponent wins.
3.) Name of the game: The Hitman
Objective: To hit the targets and learn accuracy
No. of participants: 3 participants (each round)
Materials: 5 to 10 paper balls, cardboard, strings and soccer ball
Instruction: There should be big circles attached on the soccer goal’s net as a target mark (use
cardboard to make the big circles and also put a red small circle on each center of the big circles
attached on the net. (Use strings so that the target marks will be attached securely)

Player A should have distance from the goal (not too far). Player A will try to hit the target marks while
player B will block the incoming balls, making sure player A can’t get a score. Player A will be given 2
minutes to do the challenge. Each hit to the target is equivalent to 1 point. A player who gets highest
score wins. There should be also a person staying near the goal to collect the balls and return it to player
A.

4.) Name of the game: Don’t Touch Me when I’m Cold


Objectives: To catch all your opponents, to learn teamwork, and to strategize
No. of participants: 10 to 15 members each team
Materials: Base for each team
Instruction: Each team has a base. Each member will have to touch the base first before they catch
their opponent and make sure that their opponent touches their base first for them to not have a chance
to catch you, and if ever you caught your opponent, he/she must stay put in the base of the person who
caught him/her and then the team of the person that got caught must save him/her by touching them but
the person who will save them must also not get caught.(This is how you originally play the game) So
the twist for this game is that you are not allowed to catch the opponent if they are in the shade, you are
only allowed to catch your opponent if they are under the sunlight.
5.) Name of the game: Defense of the Ancients
Objective: To hit the can and practice strategy
No. of participants: 5-10 participants
Materials: Slipper and can
Instruction: The “it” will close its eyes and count for 20 seconds for the other players to hide. The can
must be placed in the circle. After the “it” finished counting, the “it” should look for all the players that
are hiding in order for another game to start. The players must hit the can with their slippers without
getting caught. Once a player successfully hits the can without getting caught, the player has to shout the
word "SAVE" which means that the remaining players and the player who hit the can will hide again
and the “it” will still be the “it”. If the “it” caught all player and the can is remain untouched, the first
player that was caught will be the new “it”. In short the “it” should protect the can while finding the
players that are hiding.

6.) Name of the game: The Lost Items


Objective: To find all the hidden things and enhance the memory skills
No. of participants: 5 to 10 participants
Materials: Random personal things
Instruction: The “it” will be given 2-3 min. to remember the personal things that the players has. After
that the “it” will count 20 seconds for the players to hide their personal things. The “it” will then find the
hidden items and guess who it belongs to, the bet must find all of the items hidden and guess who it
belongs correctly. Failure to do so will make the “it” still the “it”, but if the “it” can find all and guessed
all, the first person who the “it” caught will be the next “it”.
7.) Name of the game: The Twisted Fate
Objective: To hit the can and enjoy with friends
No. of participants: 3 teams that consist of 5 members
Materials: Slippers and can
Instruction: Each team will form their lines. A can must be placed in front of them distancing away
from their line. The first players have to spin for 10 times before hitting the can, the first team that
successfully hits the can wins, but if the first player from each team failed to hit the can, the second
player will spin for the same amount then try to hit the can and so on and so forth until the can will be
successfully hit. Team who first hit the can wins.

8.) Name of the group: The Longest Coastline


Objective: To make the longest line and to try each and everyone’s luck
No. of participants: 20 to 30 participants and divide it to 2 to make 2 teams
Materials: Random things
Instruction: This game will be the same as the original which is the longest line but there will be a
twist, the twist is that there will be a game master who will choose what the team should line. For
example: the game master wants the lines to be belts, the team that has the longest line of belts only,
wins. They will be given a 1 minute to form their lines. The lines should only consist what the game
master mentioned, the longest wins.
9.) Name of the game: Unboxing without Eyes!
Objective: Guess 5 items for 10 mins and practice imagination
No. of participants: 2 participants
Materials: Box with 2 holes of each alternate sides, blindfold, chair, table and random items.
Instruction: The players will sit back to back to each other and both of them will wear blindfolds.
Player A will face a table with the box on it and put his/her hands inside the holes and an item will be
place inside of the box. Player A will describe the given item and not allowed to guess
what is it. Player B will sit still at the back of player A wearing a blindfold and will guess the given item
which player A is describing the item by touch and feeling it. They will be given 5 minutes to guess five
items. Every correct guess they will be given extension of 1 minute of their time.

10. Name of the game: Tarot Card of Silence


Objective: Sort the cards and achieve communication without sound
No. of participants: 10 members each team
Materials: 2 deck of cards (the back of cards of each card must be different to each other), 2 Tables
Instruction: There are two tables distanced from each other. The table further away from the teams has
2 boxes and inside of it is mixed cards. A member from the team will run, get all of the cards inside the
box and put it on the table where his/her teammates are waiting. Once all of the cards are being gathered
on the table, the team should sort the cards by its color, shape and number without saying a word. Once
they’re done, the team will shout their team name. The team will finish first wins.
11. Name of the game: Bottle Flippin’
Objective: To flip all the bottle in the boxes and enhance reflexes
No. of participants: 5 each team
Materials: Masking tape, water bottle, water, table
Instruction: Using the masking tape, make a square on the table that consists with 3 rows and 3
columns, so that there should be 9 boxes inside the square you made. Forming a line, each team will run
to their respective tables and flip the bottle with a little amount of water inside. Make sure that the bottle
will stand in one of the boxes on the table after flipping it. Then the next player will do so, until they
completed the 9 boxes. The team who finish first wins.

12. Name of the game: Fetch me a water!


Objective: To fill the empty bucket with water from a bucket of water, and to enhance coordination
No. of participants: 10 each team
Materials: plastic cups, 2 buckets, water, coconut husk
Instruction: Sangkayaw or the coconut shell race is commonly played in the Tagalog and Central
Luzon provinces a coconut shell tied to a string under each foot; the string placed between the toe and
the next one. The hand holds the loose end of the string. While holding and stepping on the coconut
shell each player will race by just walking fast. There should be point A, B and C. Using these points,
make a triangle and mark them point A, B, and C. Point A has a bucket of water. Point B has an empty
bucket. Each team will form a line at the point C. Each member of the team will hold a cup and hold the
stings. Using their cup, they will fetch the water from point A to B while using a coconut shell. They
will do that one at a time until the timer stops. They will be given 5 minutes to do so. The team with
more water fetched wins.
13. Name of the game: What’s Next?
Objective: To remember all the steps made by the leader
No. of participants: 10 participants
Materials: Chalkboard
Instruction: Using a chalk, draw a rectangle consists of 4 columns and 5 rows on the ground. Each team
will have a leader. The leader will be instructed which boxed to step on. He/she will cross on the
rectangle by stepping on the boxes. His/her members must remember all the steps and follow what was
stepped on. If a member fail, another member will do the same. The leader will watch the steps of
his/her members, he/she will just say if it’s the correct or wrong. The team will be given 10mins. to
complete the task. Failure to do so, lose. If it’s your turn, your other members are not allowed to coach.
If they will do so, automatically your team will be disqualified. All members should do it correctly.

14. Name of the game: Catch Me!


Objective: To find a partner and strategize
No. of participants: 9-15 participants (odd number)
Materials: No need materials
Instruction: There should be an “it”. The rest should find a partner and they should intertwine their
arms together. The “it” will connect him/herself to a partner by intertwining his/arms to a person who
has a partner, then once the “it” successfully attached him/herself, the other person or the partner of the
person that the “it” just connected to will automatically move apart and find another partner to
connect/attach to and so on and so forth but they will do that by walking like a baby, which means small
walks or baby walks. Like you’re just going to walk fast while your legs are together. The person who
has a partner should not allow the bet to find a partner or to attached/connect to them or else one of them
will be the next bet and find another partner.
15. Name of the game: Avoid me!
Objective: To avoid the incoming ball, practice reflexes, and strengthen stamina
No. of participants: 4 to 6 players
Materials: Sack and paper balls
Instruction: Inside a volleyball court (remove the net), there will be two teams. Team A will be in the
center of Team B. The members of team B be will be facing the Team A. Team A will wear sacks. Team
B will pass the ball to each other and make sure they will hit the Team A using the paper ball. Team A
must avoid the incoming ball. They can run, jump, as long as they are wearing the sacks and still inside
the court. If Team A will run beyond the court, they will be disqualified. Once a player is hit, they will
be eliminated. If all the players are eliminated, they will exchange places with team B.

16. Name of the game: John Lemon


Objective: Sing to impress and win.
No. of participants: 4 to 6 players
Materials: Calamansi, Salt, Table, Timer
Instruction: In a table, there are many calamansi cut in half and salt on top of each calamansi prepared.
There will be 2 teams fighting against each other. The 2 teams will form a line away from the table.
When the game starts, the first player in each team will run towards the table and consume a calamansi
that was cut in half with salt. They will sing with all their might without changing the emotions in their
face. The judge will determine if they properly executed the song for 20 seconds without their face
changing to the taste of the calamansi. If the judges determine that they fail, they will run to the line
again and gain no points. If they have successfully done the task flawlessly, they will get a point. They
will do this for 3 – 5 mins, depending on the number of players. Most points will win the game.
17. Name of the game: Fight for Freedom!
Objective: To retrieve their teammate back to camp, strategize and enhance the cardiovascular system
No. of participants: 10 to 20 players
Materials: Markers such as chalk or chalk powder
Instruction: This game is most fun when played with a large group. Split the group into two teams,
each team will have a VIP and the chosen VIP will stay at the enemy’s camp. The object of the game is
to run into the other team's territory, save their VIP and make it safely back to your own territory. You
can tag "enemy" players in your territory using the markers if they have entered in your territory,
sending them to your jail. They cannot spring back into action unless their VIP is saved. If their VIP is
saved, then they gain points and all the jailed members including your own will go back to each base
and start again. Team with the most points will win the game.

18. Name of the game: Park and Go!


Objective: To cross safely to the other path, and increase reflexes
No. of participants: 8 to 12 players
Materials: Green sign and red sign (can be back to back for easy changing)
Instruction: The group will be divided into two equal teams. The first team will form a straight line
extending 2 meters to 3 meters gap in each member. The grid must be large enough that someone can
stay in the middle out of reach of someone standing on the lines. The first team will act as the tagger and
the other as the runners. The object of the game is to cross the rectangle back and forth without getting
tagged. One tagger is usually assigned per crosswise line. Taggers can tag runners at any time, including
those already past them, but both of their feet must always be on the lines. For the runners, they will run
only when the game master shows the green sign as it means go. If the game master changes the sign to
red depending on the time given, it means stop. If a runner failed to pass the tagger when the game
master changes to stop, it means that the team will change places and gain no points. If all members on
the other hand manages to pass all the taggers, they gain a point. Most points win.
19. Name of the game: The Sticktepede
Objective: To finish the race by forming a line of sticks and enhance agility
No. of participants: 2 members each team
Materials: Five chopsticks and flag each team
Instruction: Each finish line must have a flag. Each team should have different color of flags to
represent their teams. Player A of each team will hold all the chopsticks while waiting for the time to
start. When the time starts, Player A will give the sticks to player B one by one. Player B will form a
line of sticks. After forming a line, the last stick of the line must be placed in front to make it forward to
the Finish line or to their respective flags. Player who will finish the race first, wins.

20. Name of the game: Meteor Shower


Objective: Catch as much plastic balls using reflexes
No. of participants: 2 members each team
Materials: Small plastic balls, basket, strings and timer
Instruction: The members of each team must be away from each other in a considerable amount of
distance. Player 1 of each team will throw the plastic balls and player 2 must catch the ball using the
basket. Of course, it wouldn’t be a challenge if the basket was widely open, so we add the strings on the
basket to make “holes” that the plastic ball will just comfortably fit into the hole. Most plastic balls
caught after some time will win the game.
