To Whom it May Concern:

Jacqueline Jamieson has been serving as my student-teacher in our co-taught Written and Oral Communications
(English 9) classroom. Throughout her time as a classroom observer this fall and student-teaching experience this
spring, she has shown an amazing level of maturity, preparedness, and teamwork in the classroom and during
Remote Learning. Jacqueline is an excellent candidate to become a full-time teacher.

From the moment she began at Lake Park, Jacqueline seamlessly transitioned into our very diverse classroom.
Her love of literature and the English language has inspired great skills in creating engaging, skills-based lessons.
Additionally, she has collaborated to help modify lessons for special education students, English language
learners, students facing extreme social-emotional traumas, and students performing significantly below grade
level. Regardless of the situation, Jacqueline invests the time required to build positive, meaningful relationships
with all students in order to maintain an effective learning environment for each classroom learner. Even under
the challenging circumstances during these unprecedented times, Jacqueline has managed the transition to Remote
Learning with ease. Without hesitation, she opened various new avenues of communication with students and
families and has modified and created materials that allow students to continue their growth from home. The
dialogue of feedback she has maintained with students throughout this process is thoughtful and thorough. She
holds students to high expectations but also meets each student where they are, allowing for a challenging and
rewarding experience for all. Jacqueline is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure students can be confident
and successful.

Through Jacqueline’s passion for teaching, eagerness to contribute, and positive demeanor, she has also built
strong relationships with department members. In the midst of a curriculum rebuild and Remote Learning, she
continues to recommend a variety of resources and lessons for newly outlined learning objectives. In fact, all
WOC team members have begun using her creative lessons and student examples in their own instruction.

Jacqueline Jamieson will be a wonderful addition to the school district that has the good fortune to hire her. As
one of Jacqueline’s supervising teachers, please accept my strongest recommendation—her future in education is
bright.

Sincerely,
