This research is focused on finding out why Grade 10 Gold students of Villacin
This chapter presents the respondents, local, and method of the gathering and analyzing
the data.
The respondents of this survey were the grade 10 students of Villacin National High
School (VNHS). This survey took place inside Villacin National High School. The target
audience was not forced to answer particular question if it seems too personal for them. The
The method used in gathering and appraising information was a short survey followed by
questionnaire. The gathered data were analyzed and computed for accurate results for this
research.
This research tool considered only for two questions and seven response questions, but as
said students must asked supplementary questions to support their choices. The target audience
may or may not feel hate of Math subject although the average chosen within each class would
be the default answer for the unrequited items. The survey questioned a number of 38 students if
they scared of Math subject. Some choices may be repeated and some item may have more
replies from the respondent since they may be more than feel scared cause of Strict Teacher,
Hard to Understand, Lack of Materials, and Method of Teaching. For better result and more
accurate analysis, the survey accumulation will be converted to percentage form for each choice
of answer.
The following are the result of the data analyzed from the survey finding out the causes of fear to

According to table 2, 22 respondents feel scared during math classes because it is hard to
get (with the mean of 0.60); 10 respondents answered they have a strict teacher (with the mean of
0.28); both lack of materials and method of teaching have 2 respondents (with the same mean of
0.06).
CONCLUSION
Based on the research, the researchers found out that the main reason found out that the
main reason why Grade 10 Gold students feel scared during Math classes is because it is hard to
understand.
