1. 1. Historical review of charles tellier
Louis Abel Charles Tellier BORN IN FRANCE JUNE 29, 1828 In 1856
Charles Tellier relied on the laboratory work of Michael Faraday,
who obtained a temperature of -11 degrees Celsius, and of Charles
Thilorier who, by liquefaction, managed to lower the temperature
to -79 degrees Celsius. Two years later, it created its first liquid
ammonia gas circulation refrigeration machine for the production of
cold for domestic and industrial use. This invention, which
transformed the modern world, was improved and, in 1865, he built
a mechanical liquid gas compression machine and installed it in the
factory of the master chocolatier Menier. Charles Tellier discovered
and developed the waterfall cooling method, which returns an
easily liquefiable fluid, such as sulfur dioxide, used to determine the
liquefaction of another more difficult to liquefy liquid, such as
carbon dioxide. This principle would be used and streamlined
twenty years later. Charles Tellier died in 1913 in poverty. Shortly
before dying he said to one of his relatives: "The convoy of the poor
awaits me, but the final fate of the workers does not frighten me."
2. What is a refrigerator?

1: The refrigerator is an appliance used for the preservation, at low

temperature, of perishable foods

2: is a heat pump driven by an electric motor that contributes to

the preservation of food and beverages through the cold

3: They are devices used mainly in kitchens and laboratories,

which consist of a thermally insulated cabinet, with a main
compartment in which a temperature of between 2 and 6 ° C is
maintained and also, frequently, an extra compartment used
for freezing (at - 18 ° C) called freezer.

3. What is a freezer? A freezer is refrigeration equipment that

includes a thermally insulated compartment and a refrigeration
System, which helps you keep cold and slow rot.

4. What is a refrigeratory system? The so-called refrigeration systems

or refrigeration systems correspond to mechanical arrangements
that use the thermodynamic properties of matter to transfer
thermal energy in the form of heat between two or more sources,
as required. They are primarily designed to lower the temperature
of the product stored in cold rooms or cold rooms, which can
contain a variety of foods or chemical compounds, according to
specifications.

5. Parts of a refrigerator
1. The condenser: is an undulating pipe or coil where the pressurized
gas leaving the compressor turns into a liquid. ... In the condenser
the refrigerant loses not only the heat generated by the
compression, but also the heat it absorbed in the evaporator.

2. Evaporator: An evaporator is known as the heat exchanger where

the transfer of thermal energy from a medium to be cooled to the
refrigerant fluid that circulates inside the device occurs. Its name
comes from the change of state suffered by the refrigerant when
receiving this energy, after a sudden expansion that reduces its
temperature. During the evaporation process, the fluid passes from
the liquid to the gaseous state.

3. Thermostatic expansion valve: A thermostatic expansion valve is an

expansion device which is a key component in refrigeration and air
conditioning systems, which has the ability to generate the
necessary pressure drop between the condenser and the
evaporator in the system.

4. Filter: These facilities make drinking water safe by killing and

removing bacteria, germs and viruses from the water supply. Fridge
filters improve water quality, but don't kill germs
5. Thermostat: A thermostat is the component of a simple control
system that opens or closes an electrical circuit based on
temperature. Its simplest version consists of a metallic sheet like
the one used by air conditioning equipment to turn the compressor
on or off.

6. Compressor: The compressor is the heart of the refrigerator. It

sucks the gas from the low pressure section and sends it, forcefully,
into the condenser and to the rest of the high pressure section,
powered by a motor. ... In addition to these pipes, hermetic
compressors may have terminals to charge the system with
refrigerant.

6. DESIGN IN YOUR NOTEBOOK AND PLACE THE NAMES IN ENGLISH, THEN

TAKE A PHOTO AND PLACE IT ON THE WORD PAGE.
7. What is a refrigerating power? The refrigerating power of an
evaporator is the capacity of extracting the heat from the enclosure
is constituted by the latent vaporization value of the refrigerant plus
the useful reheating heat that occurs within it.
The refrigerating power of the compressor is the capacity of heat
extraction that has the same

8. What are frozen not frost? The No Frost system consists of a motor
that cools the freezer and a fan that distributes the air in a
homogeneous way, does not generate frost because the humidity
does not condense and also provides a higher freezing quality,
better preserves the flavor and properties nutritious food.

9 WHAT ARE COMBI REFRIGERATORS? Remember that a combi is a

device that has 2 compartments, normally the fridge at the top and
the freezer with its corresponding drawers at the bottom.

10 What are the most common faults in a refrigerator?

1- Ice obstruction.
2- Gas leak in the refrigerator.
3- My fridge doesn't cool!
4- Problems in the refrigerator motor.
5- The thermostat is broken.
