PROSECUTION WITNESS ( SISTER OF DECEASED “MEENA”)

I, swear that my name is Meena D/O Mr. Vijay, sister of deceased (Rekha) resident of
Mansarovar, Jaipur.

Swear of Oath:-

My sister Rekha is very simple and generous. And relation between us was very cordial and both
of us share everything to each other without any problem and fear. Because relation between
sisters is very close and private where they share some that type of things which they cannot
share with other family members or relatives because of trust issue and keep in mind that her
sister is that person who listen her and resolve the matter or help her to settle the things. But life
of Rekha is not going so well since some time after her marriage. She always talk to me and tell
me what going on in her matrimonial life. She was in problem from her matrimonial side.
Because her in laws is demand money from Rekha and harass her with the curse words and many
times in anger gave them threating warning regarding her life. And she could not tell all this to
father because our family economic condition is not so good and Rekha don’t want to give any
tension to father relating to her matrimonial life. And she don’t want see her father in any trauma
because if her marriage is broke due to this dowry demand or anything happen. Then this will not
going so good for her father reputation and society taunting on her family reputation. Because in
ours Indian society once a girl married then all the ties to paternal family is secondary and
matrimonial family is primary. And if any problem arise due to matrimonial life then society
always blame the girl and questioning her family and girl reputation. Rekha told me that her
husband beating her and threating her and repeatedly demand for money from her paternal side.
And after some year later to marriage her husband is aggressively taunting or harassing her and
time to time give life threating warning to Rekha. But after her in laws pressurize Rekha
regarding money then Rekha is also informed about this to ours father on telephone that her
husband is demand money but she never talked about detailed regarding this to father only told
that her in-laws harassing her for money. Before two day prior to the incident Rekha call me and
tell me all of this with crying voice. And said that if she doesn’t arrange the money then “she
will not live anymore”. And her husband say to Rekha “Do what you want to do I need
money”. At that time I said her to be relaxed. And I comforted him we solve it as soon as
possible. Regarding this I talked to my father and my father told me that I do something. And
then in the morning of 25 May 2016 ours father received a call from neighbor of rekha marital
home that Rekha had died. What her in-laws had said about Rekha’s life, they actually did it with
Rekha.
DEFENCE WITNESS (NEIGHBOR)

I, swear that my name is “Y” neighbor H/O Mr. “X”, neighbor of (Mr. Mahesh) Resident of
Mahesh Nagar, Ajmer.

Swear of Oath:-

I reside near house of Mr. Mahesh in Mahesh Nagar Ajmer. Since very long time I was lived as
neighbor of Mr. Mahesh and I very well know him or his family. They all are very good persons
and very kind to all those who live near their house have good behavior from them. And I
personally attached to Mr. Mahesh mother because she is very sacred lady and always worship
the god. They invited me and my husband on marriage of Mr. Mahesh which held on 05 April
2013. And I went in marriage of Mr. Mahesh. Where I saw that function is going smoothly
without any disturbance. And both the families is very happy with the marriage and I did not see
anything which show that this marriage is based on dowry. All the members is enjoy the
marriage with happy faces. And after marriage the life of Mr. and Mrs. Mahesh used to live
happily. And her husband Mr. Mahesh conducts towards his Wife (Rekha) was cordial. And Mr.
Mahesh behavior with his wife (Rekha) was very good and he held her with great respect. This
show that nothing bad is going between them. And Mr. Mahesh family is also very kind and
generous to newly wedding bride all things is going very smoothly between family members.
And all the festivals in our locality are celebrated with great pomp and show. And both of them
used to participate in every festival with great enthusiasm all the peoples of locality used to say
how good they both look and are always happy together. This show that they both are very happy
with their married life and no problem between them is existed.

And I never heard anything wrong and rumors about them that they demanded dowry. And both
the families are meet to each other with generous way. Rekha is also live happily with her
husband many times I meet to Rekha where I didn’t see anything in the behavior of rekha that
she is not happy with the marriage or family and she never told me about anything or any
problem which arise or happen between rekha and her husband and his family. She always told
me that all the family members are very kind and their behavior with me is also good and they
always support me and respected me excessively. She was happier with this family as much as I
felt with his words. And on 25 May 2016 rekha death is happen. Day before her death I not heard
anything which show that fight is happen between them regarding anything. Which show that
Rekha life is in trouble and no sound is coming from Mr. Mahesh house regarding anything. And
on 25 May 2016 also there is no sound is coming or anything happen which attract the neighbor
that something bad is going in house of Mr. Mahesh. As I came to know that rekha did not live in
this world, I was shocked because nothing happened that caused rekha to die.
