1. A rule to find the correct dose of a particular medicine for a child, is when the mass of the child in
kilograms is known, is:
Dose for child = (Dose for adult × mass of child) ÷ 70.
What is the correct dose for a child of mass 28 kg if the adult dose is 15 mL?

2. Karen bought three packets of nails. Each packet had the same number of nails. Karen opened one
packet and used half of those nails. She then had 100 nails left. How many nails are in each packet?
