Minutes of the Second Regular Session of the Sangguniang Barangay of West-Canayaon held on August 10,
2019 at 9:10 AM at Barangay Office.
I. CALL TO ORDER
The session was called to order at exactly 9:10 in the morning by the Presiding Officer and was followed by
invocation and singing of the tri-color hymn led by Kagawad Arlene O. Manubag.

II. ROLL CALL AND THE DECLARATION OF QUORUM

The Presiding Officer declared the secretary to call the roll and the following attendance was taken to wit;

All were present, so the Presiding Officer declared the quorum.

III. READING AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS SESSION
The Secretary read the previous minutes there’s no corrections so Kagawad Marivic S. Ladesma moved to approve
of the previous minutes and was duly seconded by Cristino Oclarit.

IV. RECOGNITION OF VISITORS

The Presiding Officer recognized the presence of the Barangay Tanod Blecilo Pagaran, visitors Mr. Felimon
Cagampang, Andres Galemba and Municipal Health Ms. Bethel Maris Galacio. He also recognized the presence
of Mr. Juan Cuadra and Mr. Nonoy Lantaca so Kagawad Sotero P. Salarda moved to suspend the rule to give time
for their reports and was duly seconded by SK Chairman Jhan Walter Martinez.

Presiding Officer asked Juan Cuadra Jr., how true why he was been pointed by the woman who went to the ship.
First, Kagawad Sotero Salarda explained what happened at the time on August 22, 2019 at 7 p.m. This was a
clarification only for “Anti- Human Trafficking to prevent VAWC. Mr. Cuadra denied the accusation and he
explained his side what happened at that time. He had a witness in the name of Mr. Nonoy Lantaca. Nonoy
Lantaca said that the woman pointed Mr. Glenn Galbizo. Kagawad Sotero Salarda requested to invite the two
persons Mr. Galbizo and Mr. Lantaca during the 1st session on September, 2019.

Mr. Felimon asked where is the P50, 000 given by Congress Yap last 2010. He informed that Gov. Yap will give
additional livelihood project. Additional seawall project from the province worth 5 million. Resolution for water
system should be passed.

Mr. Andres Galemba requested ang mainline sa East Canayaon ipa closed ang tubo sa canal ipabalhin kay lisod
limpyohan.

Miss Bethel Marie Galacio read the memorandum about dengue.

1. Conduct 4 o’clock habit –way gipili ulan or init.
2. Tanan maghayang ikulob
3. Encourage every household nga maghaling.

Mr. Hermogenes Caderao Jr. introduced himself as the replacement of tanod Roman Acilo.

OUTGROWTH OF THE PREVIOUS SESSION:

Punong Barangay said that Tanod Gregorio Ladesma is willing to work.

PRESIDING OFFICER’S TIME:

1. August 16, 2019 – all Barangay Captain Seminar at Tagbilaran City.
2. Sept. 23, 2019 at 8 to 12 am- scheduled of Satellite Registration at Barangay Hall.
 3. Registro sa mga banka ug sakayan.DA-PSA.
4. Application Form for Accreditation of CSO.
5. P40,000 Socio Economic of year 2020 20% development fund from LGU additional for Multipurpose
building
6. The previous ordinance regarding the ambulance of LGU was reviewed and read.
7. No. 3 PBC pipe 15 pcs. additional

Water collection: 8-8-2019 = 2,170.75
PUROKS REPORT
I. c/o Kagawad Arlene Manubag – problem is dusty road. Brgy. Treasurer reported of what Mr. Tipon said
dambakan daw ang canal.
II. c/o Kagawad Sotero P. Salarda – Crescencion Tiu complained dako siya ug bayronon sa water bill.
III. c/o Kagawad Marivic S. Ladesma – di ba puede ang barangay maoy mo provide sa water meter. She
suggested to apply water wright for a new additional source of water.
IV. c/o Kagawad Ronald N. Pagaran & Kagawad Cristino S. Oclarit – Asked the situation para kang Fredo
Camba nga poste streetlight post near Mr. Jonh Black Cuadra ilang gikuha kay ibalhin.
V. c/o Kagawad Virginia R. Pagaran & Kagawad Ronnie Milan –1. water meter not yet repaired. Kag. Ronnie
Milan asked if willing pa ba ang chief tanod mo duty? 2. habal habal drivers mi action sad ug parking sa
dating parkingan Police mohatag unta ug action.

SK Chairman’s Report
September 24-25, 2019 schedule of Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration. Municipal Budget sila mukuha.

V. ADJOURNMENT
For having no more discussions the session was adjourned at 11:50 AM by Kagawad Virginia R. Pagaran and was
duly seconded by Kagawad Arlene O. Manubag.
