Image 1:

- Framed it so the hand was directly in the middle with the hands spread apart so it dissipates the
audiences focus, also bringing it closer to the chest logo ( I really like the positioning)

- Accents of the background coming through is just enough subtle detail

- Picture was taken from directly above so the flash is at it is brightest on the chest and gradually
getting darker towards the edges which works well as it makes the picture have the gritty look I was
after

- Picture shows a lot of the t shirt as well as the hoodie so makes a fitting looobook picture

Image 2:

- for this image I wanted to capture the details of the ring and I think it was successful

- Hand is filling the middle diagonal third of the picture with an even amount of space on either side,
I also framed it so the logo is in line with the ring on opposite sides of the image, I think this has
worked really well

- Depth of focus has blurred out the logo but has kept the colours, allowing them to be visibly
matching the rings that are in focus

- The Vivienne Westwood ring is not as in focus as I would have hoped but nonetheless it is a
successful picture capturing details and framed well

Image 3:

- with this image I wanted most of the model visible as well as the clothes

- I had the model point his arms straight down along with the hood up, giving a more urban and
rebellious look

- If I had more background space I would’ve have taken the image from further away to fit the head
in but nonetheless the image is framed nicely with the model placed ventured and equal space on
either side, the fingers at the bottom also fit so it wouldn’t make it seem like the image is cut off like
it does with the head

- the image fits his whole body and is nicely framed so I will be using it

Image 4:

- With this image I wanted to try and have the hair be as loud as possible in the shot like Vivienne’s
shoot, so I got him to pose with his hand extending his hair making it messy and fall onto his face

- I framed it so equal like amounts of his arms were in the shot whilst he was cantered to give it a
balanced look

- the strong pose and the image clearly showing the clothes I feel makes the image successful, as
well as the framing of it
- the front on camera angle had to be used as a tilt would have revealed the other walls

Image 5:

- alongside the other shots I wanted one that looked more elegant to fit in with the conventions of
high fashion, so I took a close up of the face with the hand gently resting on it

- this shot captures more detail of the accessories, which the attention is driven towards due to the
placement of the hand being by the face

- if I could adjust the focal length, I would have had the shot a lot tighter around the face and hands
however this would have taken a considerable amount of quality away if I tried it on my phone

- the flash has a raised but balanced exposure on the face and hands compared to the background,
making more depth in the shot

- overall, the picture is effective at displaying the items and the lighting helps create darker blacks
and shadows which is my aim to make it look more electric and gritty
