1. Visual Arts – are art forms that create works
which are primarily visual in nature. The visual
arts (also known as the plastic arts)
produce objects. They are contrasted with
the performing arts.
o Examples
are ceramics, drawing, painting, sculptu
re, and printmaking. Also, modern
visual arts which
use technology: photography, video, fil
mmaking and architecture.
These definitions should not be taken too
strictly as many artistic disciplines (performing
arts, conceptual art, textile arts) involve aspects
of the visual arts as well as arts of other
types. Movies and performing arts, for example,
make use of set and costume design, sometimes
by prominent artists.

art through forming original ideas with
the use of nature.
2. Film - a motion picture made primarily for
aesthetic reasons rather than commercial
profit, often of an experimental nature or
having an unconventional or highly symbolic
content, aimed typically at a limited
audience.
o Examples are the films that are
shown at special theaters, cinemas
and at film festivals.

begins having an initial notion; from there it
is really all about nurturing until it grows to
be an excellent notion that thought.

The creativity being manifested
in poetry performance is that when the
speaker tells or recited to the audience
of his/her emotions and perceptions
through the message of the poet, or
when the speaker use his/her emotions
while saying it out loud to express
his/her feelings towards the audience.
5. Architecture – is defined as the art and
science of designing buildings and
structures. A wider definition would include
within this scope the design of any built
environment, structure or object, from
town planning, urban design, and landscape
architecture to furniture and objects. It
could also be defined as the manipulation
 of shapes, forms, space and light to change
our environment.
o Examples are construction of
buildings and other physical
structures.

Creativity being manifested in
architecture through the plans for creating
or designing an infrastructure.
6. Dance – is a performing art form consisting
of purposefully selected sequences
of human movement. This movement
has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is
acknowledged as dance by performers and
observers within a particular culture.
o Examples that have a dance-like
quality are martial arts, gymnastics,
cheerleading, figure skating,
synchronized swimming, marching
bands, and many other forms of
athletics.

Creativity being manifested in the dance is
through the sets of steps and bodily movements of
the performers or dancers.
7. Literary Art – is the integrative discipline of
ideation, literary appreciation and multi-
modal creative writing.
o Examples to be major constituents
of
the arts include literature (including
fiction, drama, poetry, and prose),
performing arts (among them
dance, music, and theatre), and
visual arts (including drawing,
painting, filmmaking, architecture,
ceramics, sculpting, and
photography).

Creativity being manifested in
the literary arts through our
imaginative minds we can create a
beautiful written works.
8. Theater – is a collaborative form
of performing art that uses live performers,
typically actors or actresses, to present the
experience of a real or imagined event
before a live audience in a specific place,
often a stage.
o Examples are acting, singing and
dancing. Other forms of
the Performing Arts include opera,
magic or illusion performances,
mime, spoken word, recitation and
public speaking.
o How is creativity manifested?
Creativity being manifested in
the theater through the literary
works that turn it to play and
performance.
9. Music – is music that implies advanced
structural and theoretical considerations or
a written musical tradition.
o Examples such as classical music,
cultivated music, serious music, and
canonic music.
o How is creativity manifested?
Creativity being manifested in the music
through the sets of words that can make a rhythm.
10. Applied Arts - are all the arts that
apply design and decoration to everyday
and essentially practical objects in order to
make them aesthetically pleasing. The term
is used in distinction to the fine arts, which
are those that produce objects with no
practical use, whose only purpose is to be
beautiful or stimulate the intellect in some
way. In practice, the two often overlap.
Applied arts largely overlaps
with decorative arts, and the modern
making of applied art is usually
called design.
o Examples are architecture, gold and
artistic forms of metalworking,
ceramic art, artistic glass and
enamel, automotive design, fashion
industry, furniture design,
calligraphy, paper marbling and
gastronomy.
