Shubha Grahas
Given here the high level results of the Dasa of the Shubha Grahas.
These results are based on the disposition of the Grahas. The
results should be adjusted based on the Bhava ownership,
placement, aspects and yogas.
1. Guru Dasa
1. Guru is the preceptor of the Grahas. He is the most
benevolent among all the Grahas. Next to him is Shukra.
2. Guru attains Uccha in Karka and Neecha in Makara.
3. The Deva Grahas Surya, Mangal and Chandra are friendly
towards Guru.
4. Among the Asura Grahas, Shani is neutral but causes Neecha
to Guru. Shukra is highly inimical towards Guru but Budha is
neutral. Rahu is inimical towards Guru while Ketu is friendly,
being the Moksha-karaka.
Shubha Guru
Ashubha Guru
2. Śukra Dasa
1. Śukra is the karaka for comforts, luxuries and pleasures,
intoxication, ecstasy, delight and pride.
2. Śukra’s Uccha is in Meena and Neecha in Kanya.
3. Śukra’s friends are the Asura Grahas Shani, Budha and Rahu.
Among them Shani attains Uccha in Śukra’s house, hence
highly favorable. Although Budha is Śukra’s friend, but it
causes Neecha to Śukra.
4. Among the Deva Grahas, Chandra and Mangal are neutral
towards Śukra. Surya is truly inimical. Guru is inimical, but
then it causes exaltation to Shukra, hence not detrimental to
him.
5. Śukra is naturally feminine in character. It owns the natural
2nd house, Vrsha and 7th house, Tula.
6. Śukra is the only graha who gives good results in the 12th
house, provided it is well placed. For Mesha Lagna, Shukra
being the 2nd lord in the 12th house, is actually good for
wealth.
Shubha Śukra
3. Budha Dasa
1. Budha is a teenager (Kumar), hence childish, playful, fond of
fun and frolic. His nature is to experiment. He does not accept
established norms.
2. Its gets Uccha in own Rasi Kanya and Neecha in Guru’s Rasi
Meena.
3. Budha is the bastard Child of Chandra. Hence, Budha dearly
hates Chandra, although Chandra loves Budha. Shani, Shukra
and Rahu are dear friends of Budha. But Budha being the
representation of Vishnu Avatara, cut Rahu’s head, hence,
inimical towards Rahu. Shani is highly favourable towards
Budha but Budha is neutral to Shani. A old man loves the
company of a young child, but the reverse may not be true.
Shukra considers Budha as its dear friend, but then it attains
Neecha in one of its Rasi. Budha also considers Shukra as its
Dear friend, but is the cause of Śukra’s Neecha. There are many
contradictions in BUdha’s life.
4. Among the Devagrahas, Chandra loves Budha although
Budha hates him. Guru hates Budha but Budha is neutral
towards Guru. Surya is neutral to Budha, but Budha dearly
loves Surya.
5. Budha gives excellent results in the 8th house, provided it is
not afflicted, else, its own significations suffer.
Shubha Budha
Ashubha Budha
4. Chandra Dasa
1. Chandra governs the Mind, that carries all the impressions
from the past lives into this life.
2. Chandra is the only graha whose strength is also measured in
terms of the Paksha Bala in addition to the Sthana Bala. The
Paksha Bala is even more important source of strength
compared to the sthana bala. For Chandra, the Paksha Bala is
also the Chesta Bala. It is said that Chandra’s Paksha Bala adds
strength to all the other Grahas.
3. Chandra owns the 4th house of the natural zodiac, governing
comforts, happiness, heart, vehicles, house and real-estate.
4. Chandra is inimical to none, but Budha, Shukra and Shani
are inimical towards Chandra. Among them Shani is highly
inimical, next to it is Budha, followed by Shukra.
5. Chandra is the fastest among all the grahas, hence it
represents changeableness. Also, its change in tithis represents
this.
6. Among the Dusthanas, occupation of the 8th house is the
worst, that is followed by the 6th house and then the 12th
house.
7. Chandra’s occupation of the Lagna is not considered good
unless it occupies Mesha, Vrshabha or Karka. Evidently, it’s
occupation of the Kendra is also not considered auspicious.
When Chandra occupies the Lagna (other that what mentioned
above), occupation of Papagrahas in the Kendras or the 8th
house can forebode great danger to life.
8. On the other hand, Chandra’s occupation of the Trikona or
the Labha Bhava is considered highly auspicious.
