RECYCLING PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT

These days, there are so much waste filled up in our and causes to pollution.It is very
important for us to start recycling from now to protect our earth for future
generation.Recycling means the process of converting waste materials into new materials
and object.It is a simple way for educate people to reduce waste, purchase products that
made from recycled materials and others.We can do recycling by collecting,sorting and
processing the materials into a new products.Recycling is the third component of the three
R’S which are Reduce,Reuse and Recycle and all of this R’s are connected to each other.

There are a type of materials that we can recycled and turned it into a new
products.So we should know what things that we can be recycled and what not.Firstly,
kitchen and garden waste to make our own compost.We can saperate the waste of food
scraps rather than to put in the trash and put in into the container.The food waste can be
turned back into nutrients to the soil and help plants to grow. We can make our own compost
because it is much cheaper than buying it at garden center.It also lead to a better
environment.First, select a dry or shady spot near from the water source and place the
container.After that, add brown ingredient like branches, dead leaves and green ingredient
such as vegetable waste and fruit scraps.Then moisten dry materials.Mix grass clippings
and green waste into the container and bury the fruit and vegetable waste under 10 inchi of
compost material.Lastly,closed the container with a tarp to make sure it keep moist.The
colour will change to dark and our compost is ready to use and it takes two months to two
years.Secondly, the paper and cardboard.Most of us are using materials that made from
paper and cardboard every day.There are many types of things that made from this
materials such as magazine,newspaper, office paper, corrugated cardboard, paperboard
and others.Paperboards are mostly used for products as breakfast cereal boxes.Before
recycle them, please make sure the paperboard is clean and free of food waste.Things that
made from metal can also be recycle.Mostly the things that we used to throw away at home
are comes from food and drink cans such as food cans,aluminium cans and others.By
recycling, it can be melted down and produce into a new food cans.From recycling one
aluminium we can save energy to run a television for three hours.
 Next, thet materials that can be recycle is oil.Oil it the waste from the truck or car
engines and cooking oil that we mostly used at home.To recycle our used oil properly,we
can go to an oil change facility that accepts oil containers or to a household waste recycling
facility near to our house.Then, please make sure that we do not mix the oil with other
automotive fluids or household chemicals and avoid using the same containers that held
chemicals to store used oil.In addition,plastics are also the materials that can be
recycled.Plastic has cause the biggest problem because they last long in the environment to
take a long time to disposed. Sometimes it can last to 500 years.They are very light and can
easily float and across the oceans. By that,plastics can killing wildlife and aquatic animals
and make the animals become extinct.

There are some importance for us to start recycling from now. It is because recycling
can save energy from the manufacture to process new products.For example, to make a
single aluminium, we have to spend 95 percent of energy. If we recycled and reuse the
aluminium it will reduce the manufacturing to use a lot of energy from power plants to
process more products due to high demand.Then,it can cut down pollution such as water
pollution and air pollution.By recycling, we can prevent water from becoming polluted
because recycling can reduce the amount of garbage that contained harmful and chemicals
waste that end up in the ocean.Many of aquatic animals will get harmed from that and there
was too much plastics in the ocean.By recycling we would reduce to process new things
since we will need to reuse more.Furthermore, recycling can reduces landfill space. It is
because because when the participation people in recycling is increase so that the garbage
and waste will become decrease.That means only a little space that need to put the garbage
in the landfills because many of them had been recycled.If the waste that we throw are not
biodegradable, it will stay in the landfill for many years to disposed. By recycling
metal,plastic, cardboard can prevent pollution from building up in landfills too much.

There are a few steps that we should to be a better in recycler.We can contact the
local hauler which is near from our house to communicate with him or her and ask them
information about recycling. Then you determine what types of materials that can be
recycled and what cannot.After that placed a recycling bin near to our house and don’t forget
to label it with brochure and flyers.Secondly, we can reduce and reuse.For example if we go
to a shopping mall to buy groceries do not forget to bring along plastic bags with us. From
that we can reuse the plastic bags and no need to get a new one.By that kind of activities
can reduce the employing of plastic bags.We can also go to the recycling centre to recycled
the things that we have separate them into the categories.

In the nutshell,recycling is the best way for us to save our earth from pollution.There
are many benefits that we get when we are doing are recycling and it is very easy to do. We
can recycle and put it into a recycling bin according to their label.By doing that, it showed
that we concerned about our environment.Most of us want to live in a fresh air and a good
environment.However,everybody must take the responsibility to make sure the recycling
activities still be continued in the future to take care of our environment.
