General Specification

Commercial Grade,

Smart HVAC Switching Control

Model No. : MWS-120, MWS-240

Description

The Air-conditioning Smart Control work by

co-coordinating the two sensors: battery
operated wireless PIR Occupancy Ceiling
Sensor (MWS-BPC) and Magnetic Door
Sensor (MWS-BDS) to make and break the
HVAC power supply circuit with a Smart
Duplux Receptacle (MWS-RSC). Either
sensor alone can turn the circuit on once it
detects a proper signal. After a logical
calculation between the two sensors, if
vacancy is determined, the circuit will be open after a 10 to 15 minutes delay. There is a built-in
thermostat in MWS-BPC allowing the system to provide an 8 degree F plus of HVAC energy
consumption saving.

Energy Saving Mode (options of switching a dip switch):

Option1: Disable built-in thermostat to cut the power OFF during all the time of Vacancy
Option2: Enable built-in thermostat to keep the room temperature at 80 to 81 degree F in summer
time (cooling) and 59 to 60 degree F in winter (heating).

Features:
- Flush mount 20A Smart Receptacle
- Easy to install Wireless Magnetic Door Sensor
- Ceiling mount PIR Sensor with built-in Thermostat
- Supper Low Power needed by both sensors
- Allowing Long last battery life
- End of battery life indication
- Constant System Self Testing

Automatic Operating Sequence

For the Smart Receptacle to close the circuit, it is to take either a signal from Door Magnetic
Momentary Sensor (door being openned and/or closed), or a signal from OCC Sensor (Occuancy
detected).
To breake the circuit, it needs signal from both sensors to ensure there is no more occupancy. The
system is to enter into 10 to 15 minutes delay to cut off power after the room is vaccancy.
Without signal from Door Sensor, if there is no occupancy movement detected by OCC Sensor for
five (5) hours, the system also cut off power.
It takes two minute for the system to confirm the vaccancy.

Factory Default Secure Wireless Code

It is a factory default for the parts to work together as a secure wireless net work system. However,
if more device it needs to be re-code, follow the code matching as below,

Installation & wiring:

Replace the existing receptacle with the Smart Control Receptacle MWS-BPC by connects wires:
Green lead to ground, Black lead to Hot, White Lead to Neutral.

Stick the Door Sensor on door and the smaller magnetic part on door frame facing each others.

Install OCC Sensor by having a clear view of the most traffic in the room.

Test Mode
With one touch of the button on Receptacle, the Smart Control Receptacle moved to Test Mode,
vacancy delay time reduces to 30 Seconds. Please unplug the air conditioner before doing so.
When the LED flashing, open and close the door one time, remove the battery of the PIR sensor
and put it back in, the first 5 minutes is within the test mode. The LED light will become steady. Use
a box to cover the PIR sensor, open and close the door, the LED will turn off about 30 seconds.
Remove the box on PIR sensor, LED will turn on.
Smart Control Receptacle MWS-RSC
Both 240Vac and 120Vac are built the same except the top (face) plate to allowing only the right
plug to the right configuration (120Vac picture showing below)

End of Battery Life Test

If LED on receptacle keep flashing, after repeating of the test mode, continues of LED flashing
means End of Battery Life. Replace batteries of both PIR and Door Sensor.
