Parent Protocol - School Entry

Monday, June 9th through Friday, June 18th

Please note that masks or face coverings will be required by everyone, including
children, to enter the building . A limited number will be available but you are
encouraged to bring and wear your own.

We appreciate your patience and support as we work through this together.

When you arrive at the school, please:

· conduct​ self-screening measures
· enter through the designated doors
· use hand sanitizer and wear​ a mask or face covering​ (limited masks are available but
you are encouraged to bring and wear your own)
· respect all physical distancing requirements, staying at least 6 feet away from others
· drop off any items in the front foyer (include your child’s name, teacher and list of
items returned)
· retrieve belongings from classroom or locker quickly
· put any garbage in the bins provided

Please exit the building quickly

Monday to Thursday - 9:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 2:30pm

We will be using two entry points into the school – the Main Doors in the front of the school and
Door 9 off of the playground. We will also have a table set-up for drop-off of all items at Door 7,
also off the playground.

· Main Doors:​ This door will be used for students whose classes are in the main
hallway and on the second floor. We will be allowing four people per floor at a time.
There will be two lines for entry, one for the main floor and one for the second floor.

· Door 9:​ This door will be used for students whose classes are on the first floor,
second floor and third floor of the original building. We will be allowing four people
per floor at a time. There will be three lines for entry, one for the first floor, one for
the second floor and one for the third floor.

· Door 7:​ There will be a drop off table located here; a staff member will be there to
take and record your items.
· Library books, textbooks, resources, jerseys, music instruments, etc.
· Any items found in your child’s desk or locker that belong to the school.
· Please ​DO NOT​ bring back any borrowed technology at this time. We will be having
a separate process for that when the time comes.

Medical ​- If you have medical supports in the office (epi-pens, puffers, medications etc.), please
email ​corey.clark-mcbride@tdsb.on.ca​ at Annette St or ​marlene.richardson@tdsb.on.ca​ for High
Park to make arrangements for pick up

Daycare​ – There will be ​no access ​to the daycare rooms other than the ones shared with
Kindergarten on the first floor.
