b. Read the following text and answer the questions
GOING TO THE MOVIES
My class is going to the movies on a field trip next week. We have to get
permission slips signed before we go. We also need to ask our parents if they
will drive to the movie theater. We are going to see a movie that tells the story
from a book we read. We love it when movies are made from books. It is fun to
compare the movie to the book. I usually like the book better. We get to the
movie early so we can buy popcorn. Some of us buy candy and slushes too. We
all enjoy watching the movie. When we return to school, we talk about things
that were in the movie and the book. The movie and book are similar. We all
agree that we like the book better though. Books let you picture the characters
any way you want to picture them.

IR AL CINE

 Mi clase irá al cine en una excursión la próxima semana. Tenemos que obtener las hojas de

permiso firmadas antes de irnos. También debemos preguntarles a nuestros padres si van a

conducir al cine. Vamos a ver una película que cuenta la historia de un libro que leemos. Nos

encanta cuando las películas están hechas de libros. Es divertido comparar la película con el libro.

Por lo general, me gusta más el libro. Llegamos temprano a la película para poder comprar

palomitas de maíz. Algunos de nosotros compramos dulces y granizados también. Todos

disfrutamos viendo la película. Cuando volvemos a la escuela, hablamos de cosas que estaban en

la película y el libro. La película y el libro son similares. Sin embargo, todos estamos de acuerdo

en que nos gusta más el libro. Los libros te permiten imaginar a los personajes de la forma que

quieras.
